Nice bullet pass, Rondo...I miss those.

Marcus showing flashes, though...need to be patient with him.

Patience is a foreign concept on this board, unfortunately.
Why the need for patience when you already have something awesome? Would you trade Beethoven in his prime for 6 year old Salieri, a trade exception, and a draft pick, listen to the absolutely horrid music that results and then be like "Need to be patient"?

Has a trade ever produced such mass amnesia about how poorly a player was performing before?

Amazes me how we always get caught in horrible switches, yet we never catch other teams in them. ::)

Didn't feel much like a Rondo homecoming. Crowd didn't shower him like they did Doc, KG and Paul.

I think I saw that little #26 on a milk carton.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

That's because he only showed up for half of the games  ;)

This is KO's worst game in a loooooong time. He looks like a rookie again.

Where on Earth was Marcus Smart in this game? I thought he was a good defender. Is this what we can expect now. The opposing pg (who can't shoot apparently) go for like 29 and 18 point losses at home?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Smart is looking really good right now. Good court awareness and passing.
Wake me up when he leads the league in assists for multiple years and leads pgs in rebs. And gets lot of triple doubles. And makes one all nba defensive team
move on!

Cant. We have a good player and instead of surrounding him with better players (in which we can), we gave him away.

Until we get a replacement for him (not necessarily in position but in star power), it'll be hard to move on.

1.  I don't see how people can so blithely overlook the obvious half-assing Rondo did for the last few years in Boston.

2.  What magic wand should Ainge have waived to get these "good players"?

Mike

1.) Point taken. But if we are in a winning situation, maybe he wont half ass his way around?

2.) We had a shot at getting Omer Asik last year by adding some picks. He could atleast give us a defensive boost. If we were close in getting a legitimate Center with our assets, why do you think it's so impossible to other solid players?

That is the Rondo we've been missing for years. [dang]...
Yeah. We only got the one that was leading the league in assists and pgs in rebs

And leading the team to loss after loss after loss.

Mike
Put Chris Paul on this team and see how many wins you get.

I [dang] well guarantee we would have won more than a few of those second half implosion games because Paul could, you know, actually score.

Stevens didn't show much emotion towards Rondo there after the game. Granted, he hardly shows any emotion.

Rondo just introduced himself to Marcus Smart and was like "Hi. I'm Christian Grey".
