Just wanted to point out that yesterday 11/9 against the Raptors they only had 1 active player who was a 1st round pick (Wroten) and two second round picks (McDaniels and Moute). This is a sad thing for the NBA to allow.

I really hope their attendance falls off.  They have taken tanking to an unprecedented level.

Totally agree!

If Pop is fined for resting his ancient players on the 2nd night of on-the-road b2b, the Sixers should be addressed too. It is an abysmal product to fans and customers. Every single game, for already 2 seasons and counting, with little shot of improving in the following 1-2 seasons.

Seriously, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants are D-league champions and would most probably beat the Sixers in a series. Fort Wayne deserves a NBA team! A movement needs to start - get the Sixers out and bring the Mad Ants in.

They were 29th last season. I hope it drops to a high-school chess tournament levels.

Nerlen Noel didn't play and was marked as "coach's decision"

Do they let Nerlens play in these worthless games and possibly develop bad habits and a bad attitude or do you hold  him out and deny him the in-game experience young players have to get?

Only action the commissioner can take that would work is to take away their first round pick, or put them at the back of the line.  No team should be allowed to purposely construct a roster with the goal of losing, which is exactly what the Sixers are doing. I hate the Lakers, but their plight is due to bad decisions and luck, they at least are not trying to crap out like the Sixers.

Yeah if I was a fan I'd be out on this team.  Too blatant and disrespectful.

As many games as we lost last year, I really almost never felt like we were tanking and there was always effort and something being built (which we can see results of this year).

Eh DNPs in the boxscore are sometimes for minor injuries. They could also be holding him out of back to backs still, we did that with Rondo some last year too I believe.

Edit: it wasn't a back to back, I thought it was.

I would trade lives with a sixers fan 10 times over. Promising future, in 2-3 years they could be the next okc

Thing about the Sixers plan is there's no guarantee they're gonna get Durant and Westbrook caliber players out of this. By the time they even start to find out, they'll have already spent 3 to 4 years as the NBA's black hole. Maybe they'll have a couple quality young assets at that point, but they could still be horrible and looking at a considerable rebuild.

And if you ever got down from all the losing, you could always get a boost of optimism by looking up at the banner.

So they could be looking at one NBA Finals appearance?

Don't play him for the next 3 seasons of worthless games.  Then trade him because he is too old for the rebuilding plan.

I don't agree with the OP. If I'm a team, that try to compete like the celtics, it's good to know one team, the sixers is no competetion.
However if we are sorry tankers, than I have zero sympathy for the celtics. The sixers is better in tanking. Although I bet their attendance, market value and respect they get is an all time low. It's a tradeoff, that I did not support. If I am sixers fan, then I am no more. I am not rooting for sucking.
