There is so much said and presumed about people in this world, especially famous people, that you can probably find a way to draw just about any conclusion you'd want.  Sometimes the evidence is overwhelmingly against the righteousness of a human being (eg, OJ, Hernandez...). But a lot of the time I think we like to make minor villains out of people who are just being human.  I am very glad that my personal decisions have not been public because I've probably made mistakes, been selfish, been thoughtless and been embarrassingly wrong at times.

Lebron appears to be a pretty decent guy overall who, like most of us, makes some good decisions and some bad ones.  Hopefully, he is nice to his wife, children, mother, neighbors, waitresses and barbers. That would matter more to me than what others speculate about how he treats Pat Riley, Dwayne Wade. or the fans of Miami.

Besides already being the top 5 greatest player of all time, this point tip him over as exactly why I want him to be better than Jordan (the conversation is already in the air).  The guy is clearly a better human being than Jordan and Kobe.  He's the ultimate role model in my estimation.  He came to the league very immature (something we all go through) and has made mistakes in the past (again, we all do) but he has vastly improved and matured.  I just love the way he carries himself.  Unlike his two rivalries, he became a better person.

Magic.  Bird.  Russell.  Wilt.  Kareem.  Shaq.  Kobe.  Duncan.  Jordan.  You cannot, right now, put LeBron any better than #10.

Mike
If I was building a team I would rather have LeBron than Kobe, Duncan or Wilt.

Also, re: steriods...

Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu are two players that have been caught using PED's.

In 2013, when he was caught, Turks looked like this:

Physique, clearly, is not the best determining factor.

Please show me any article that proves that high school athletes are on PEDS.. even better show me a failed test from lebron to prove he's on any peds. As a matter of fact just show me any facts to support this.  Nba isn't the mlb or nfl.. not many failed tests to use as evidence.

STEROID USE AMONG HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES

Steroid Abuse By School Age Children

Quote
The "Monitoring the Future" study conducted in 2002, determined that since 1991 there has been a significant increase of steroid use by school age children. This annual study, supported by the NIDA and conducted by the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan, surveys drug use among eighth, tenth, and twelfth graders in the United States. The first year data was collected on younger students was in 1991. Since 1991 there has been a significant increase in reported steroid use by teenagers. For all three grades, the 2002 levels represent a significant increase from 1991. The following chart illustrates the increase of steroid abuse among teenagers who reported using steroids at least once in their lifetime:

Percent of Students Reporting Steroid Use 1991 - 2002

Year   Eighth grade   Tenth Grade   Twelfth Grade
1991   1.9%   1.8%   2.1%
1999   2.7%   2.7%   2.9%
2002   2.5%   3.5%   4.0%
The 2002 survey also indicated additional data related to steroid abuse by school age children:

Percent of Students Reporting Steroid Use in 2002

Student Steroid Use   Eighth grade   Tenth Grade   Twelfth Grade
Past month use   0.8%   1.0%   1.4%
Past year use   1.5%   2.2%   2.5%
Lifetime use   2.5%   3.5%   4.0%
In addition, the 2002 survey also determined how easy it was for school aged children to obtain steroids. The survey indicated 22% of eighth graders, 33.2% of tenth graders, and 46.1% of twelfth graders surveyed in 2002 reported that steroids were "fairly easy" or "very easy" to obtain. More than 57% of twelfth graders surveyed in 2002 reported that using steroids was a "great risk." Also, another study indicated that steroids are used predominately by males. The survey determined the annual prevalence rates were two to four times as high among males as among females.

The "Monitoring the Future" study also determined that misuse and abuse of steroids is a major concern among school aged children. Some of their findings are alarming and indicate a need for concern:

A survey in 1999 determined that 479,000 students nationwide, or 2.9 percent, had used steroids by their senior year of high school.
A survey in 2001 determined the percentage of 12th graders who believed that taking these drugs causes "great risk" to health declined from 68 percent to 62 percent.

That enough for you or do you need more?

That may be enough for you but not me, this is all based on bloggers speculation based on lebron. The high school to me got off my topic that this guy's a pure beast who's never once failed any drug test in his whole career. Pure hatred for the guy, brings this all, yes I dislike the man as well but I'm far beyond blaming his stardom based on steroids. Those stats are miniscule for comparing that lebron was on steroids in high school. I also was asking for stats on nba players failing PEDS test compared to nfl or mlb.. Nba is full of pothead n crackheads. Nba is purely sketchy and to me is a fixed as it gets which is the only way I can see how lebron passes tests.

So only two players tested for peds, that says a lot about nba and peds. Could be nba is clean or a full blown cover up

Just because someone is massive with a defined physique doesn't mean they're on PEDs. Karl Malpne and Anthony Mason would of been taking them by the hour if that was so.

Thank you,  I'm off this topic though.  Once we have accusations that Malone mightve did peds as well or anyone with their kind of physique there's no convincing other wise,  the green glasses have so much hate for the guy we will now call out hall of famers.

I wasn't actually saying Malone did PEDs. Quite the opposite actually.

One thing I have to comment on is the pr spin for the letter "lebron" put out about going back to ohio and leaving miami
anyone think a ghost writer ? or his agent at the least penned that??  ::)

I wrote about this once I saw the letter. I am a natural cynic but Lebron really would have someone ghost write this thing...all he cares about is pr

He could well have had his agent help him on the points he gave to Lee to work with.

LeBron...Steroids-?...HGH---?

Flippin obvious...from how his head grew like Barry Bonds...the Tumor removed from his jaw....the Leg Cramps he always gets (nobody else does)...and the fact he looked 28 years old when he came into the league @18---LeFraud is more like it....but I could be wrong(probably not though).

+1 Max......but we're all haters because we see and say all these things without producing the needles and empty vials...we're haters , alright....we hate cheating

I would not be surprised at all---if he took PED's in High School to start out with...Kobe came out of HS looking like a skinny teenager...LBJ looked like a grown man already----something does not add up here...I've had this feeling for a long time---WITHOUT any evidence of course--Maybe he is clean--but c'mon, we all saw how Mark McGwire's body changed, and Barry Bonds---it was total cheating, and athletes cHeat all the time...They are not Saints by any means....Just because the NBA and ESPN's Bottom line depends on this guy, doesn't mean the rest of us have to capitulate and look the other way.
Nobody from the league will look into this--it's a guarantee--cause we all saw what happened in MLB after the Canseco allegations turned out to be true.
Mike Tyson at 13 looked like Mike Tyson at 25.  I don't think he was on steroids at 13.

Mike Tyson at 12 looked like a 12-year-old: http://a.abcnews.com/images/GMA/abc_yo_nw_tyson_partB_131112_wg.jpg

The NBA has typically had weak (ineffective) PED drug testing.

These guys would still be great without them.  Alonzo Mourning is a guy who I thought got huge fast.  Ditto for LeBron.   The 80s guys sure didn't look like today.  Artis Gilmore and Wilt who were really strong dudes did not look like today.
