A lot of ignorance born out of hate or dislike in this thread.  Mindblowing really.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
LeBatard is the Miami Bill SImmons.

Only a lot worse.

LeBatard is to Miami what Simmons was to Boston. Think of Simmons pre ESPN.

not to dump on this thread but the word **** is one of those English terms I have a problem with. I mean why disparage a child because of the circumstances of birth that he/she did not orchestrate?

Because.

Signed, the concept of patriarchal lineage.

I've always liked Simmons though. Pre-Espn and currently.

Oh me too. Well except for his infamous 'jinx pick' of the Lakers in 2010. I'm just saying, DL's whole schtick is basically sports guy south, carried to a bit of the extreme.

LeBron...Steroids-?...HGH---?

Flippin obvious...from how his head grew like Barry Bonds...the Tumor removed from his jaw....the Leg Cramps he always gets (nobody else does)...and the fact he looked 28 years old when he came into the league @18---LeFraud is more like it....but I could be wrong(probably not though).

By this criteria Greg Ogden must be injecting steroid every minute of the day huh?

Crazy that people actually think this guy's on hgh or anything else. . He was a beast when he was a teen... hate the guy all you want but I truly believe there is no way he's on anything. Just a natural born freak.

What's crazy is not acknowledging how rampant PED use is in high schools. High school Division 1 candidates are under tremendous pressure.

That James could be immune and insulated from that temptation as a teen is fantasy. Why couldn't he be a beast as a teen because of PEDs?

Almost every media report I read indicated that Lebron wasn't making a commitment to the Heat, he wasn't recruiting free agents, etc.  After his meeting with Riley, the word was still that he wasn't making a committment.

I'm just not sure where the "misleading" came in.

The implication is that Lebron may have made up his mind before Riley reached deals with Granger and McRoberts and that the Heat might not have signed them if they had known that Lebron was actually committed to Cleveland and not uncommitted.

There's some suspicion that Lebron James had already decided to leave Miami before the Finals were over, possibly before the Finals even started.  Some believe that Le Batard is carrying water for Pat Riley and Mickey Arison and that he is more conveying the opinions of others than expressing his own.

Basically, the Heat feel that Lebron may have never negotiated in good faith with them but was only talking to them for PR purposes and maybe to have a fallback in case things with Cleveland fell through.

I would not be surprised at all---if he took PED's in High School to start out with...Kobe came out of HS looking like a skinny teenager...LBJ looked like a grown man already----something does not add up here...I've had this feeling for a long time---WITHOUT any evidence of course--Maybe he is clean--but c'mon, we all saw how Mark McGwire's body changed, and Barry Bonds---it was total cheating, and athletes cHeat all the time...They are not Saints by any means....Just because the NBA and ESPN's Bottom line depends on this guy, doesn't mean the rest of us have to capitulate and look the other way.
Nobody from the league will look into this--it's a guarantee--cause we all saw what happened in MLB after the Canseco allegations turned out to be true.

I just can't get over how he just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.  From 230, to 240, to 250, to 260!  6'8" 260 are you Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing kidding me?  I never heard about the tumor, but what does stand out to me is one report a few years ago, maybe just before he left for Miami, where he said that he didn't want to end up 30 years old with bad knees.  Um, don't steroids kill your joints, as well as other things (cough, cough).  I swear, sometimes half of his expressions after dunking the ball look like roid rage.  Either that, or he'd responding violently to a mixture of testosterone to offset the effects of the hgh haha.  It's not only him, either.  Wade has certainly gotten a lot thicker and then started breaking down.  Hmmm.  I don't ever remembering that guy having any knee problems before 12-13.

I mean, some guys, like Pierce, are just big and have always stayed about the same size, while others, like KG, had to grow into his beanpole body lol, but even then, the difference was nothing like what we see with Lebron.  Are we even sure that he's really 29?  The guy looks like a tank with a jet engine, and yet has absolutely pathetic rebounding numbers for a guy of his size.  I think that 8 rpg last year was a career high.  Wow.  He's had a couple of 19 rebound games, but, with his body, would you believe that, after 10 years in the league, he has yet to record a single game of 20 rebounds, or even one 40-20 game?  His attitude towards rebounding, a big game here or there aside, appears to be, "don't we have people for this?"  I'm not asking him to lead the league in rebounding, but 8 as a career high?  Come on.

Please show me any article that proves that high school athletes are on PEDS.. even better show me a failed test from lebron to prove he's on any peds. As a matter of fact just show me any facts to support this.  Nba isn't the mlb or nfl.. not many failed tests to use as evidence.

it's all just jealous speculation....There is no evidence--and there won't be....but MLB would have gone on as usual, if that crazy nut Jose Canseco didn't have an Ax to grind.

Mike Tyson at 13 looked like Mike Tyson at 25.  I don't think he was on steroids at 13.
