Source tells me Kidd was extremely unhappy with King?s inability to move Williams. Did not enjoy coaching Deron and wanted him gone?

Wouldn't surprise me: D-Will, unlike a lot of other players we hear about, actually seems to be a coach killer.

That's awesome. Good job, Brooklyn.

Congratulations to Mark Jackson.

isnt that mark jackson hated when jason collins was signed?

Mark Jackson probably hates having to hangout with Kenny and Charles again a lot more. I bet he'd be fine with Jason Collins.

Congratulations to Mark Jackson.

Link? I haven't seen it reported that he's been hired yet.

Oh he hasn't, just makes a ton of sense.

Brooklyn isn't gonna hire just any geek off the street. They gotta be handy with a clipboard, if ya know what I mean. Earn ya keep.

Sure. Just posted this in the other thread, and its indirectly Broussard, so, you know, but it is interesting:

My man @Chris_Broussard reports Nets intend to give serious consideration Italian legend Ettore Messina in search to replace Jason Kidd

You know who should be angry here? Jeff Hornacek. Former player who's actually good at his coaching job and being paid peanuts in comparison to what Kerr/Fish/Kidd are getting paid.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Derek Fisher and Steve Kerr both have 5 reasons a piece they don't care what Jeff Hornacek has to say.

Jason Kidd only has 1 reason but he won't shut up about it.

I don't know -- I'm aware of him via his reputation, but I don't believe I've ever seen him coach, although I might have. Collins would be good, Karl would be better, I think.

So will Milwaukee and Brooklyn be prevented from trading for a year?

isnt that karl is more on offense?
with plumlee kg lopez mirza and one more insurance big, i'll get there invitee summer league alen omic 7'2 and develop those 3 into something good (mirza omic plumlee) with kg helping hollins, that is the best thing they could do

i also believed that if this team was coached by greg pop or rivers this team will go to ECF not miami, even with a pacers taking revenge on heat

I don't know what that means. Kidd is a mediocre coach who thinks he should get a ton of money and say, Fish and Kerr are unknowns who get a ton of money, and Hornacek is a good coach who makes even less than Kidd.

Two summers ago J-Kidd had verbal deal to re-sign with Mavs (likely w front office job waiting), then bolted for Knicks. Cuban was hot.

So here's the question for future President of Basketball Operations Jason Kidd:

What deal was out there for Deron Williams that would have made Coach Kidd happy and fit with Brooklyn's win now mindset in 2014 as well as working under the salary cap?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
