He wants to oversee basketball operations, even if it means he can't coach.

Think he trades us Jabari? Please hire him, Milwaukee.

I'm really trying to see why he thinks he can go from A-Z in one year as barely mediocre coach to a President like position  ??? ??? ???

Let me take a gander at Nets Daily..I'm sure the comments are gold right now  ;D

Well he did attend Cal while most of the other basketball types just slept at a Holiday Inn (snicker).

It's getting real..LOl

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine  42s
ESPN sources say Bucks and Nets have already begun discussing potential compensation to free Kidd from last three years of Brooklyn contract

It keeps getting better..or worse (whichever way you want to see it)  ;D

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Bucks officials under this belief, sources tell Yahoo: Kidd wants Phil Jackson-like president's role with Bucks - perhaps without coaching.

that's awesome...we can then get Sanders for some of our junk

I don't know why it seems like he would be a jerk to negotiate with.

yeah but he also seems very dumb, Ainge would run circles around him

Yeah, with in about 20 mins of negotiation Kidd would whisper some one to bump into him so he spills his drink in his lap and he bolts out of the room.

as i watched nets last year, with the HIT ME TAYSHAUN TAYLOR THING, the FRANK LAWRENCE THING, man kg should not be playing 16minutes a game, collins should have been used when kg is beaten by valencuinas, pierce can still play at SF

jason kidd sit all player 5minutes of the game, he doesn't know what to do, derek fisher triangle offense? i don't think so

man if i'm a nets nba player, i would be happy with it, mark jackson, jerry sloan, george karl, vinny del negro, man anytime i pick this coaches

and i agree nets could be top 3 in the east next year
heat
pacers
nets
bulls

maybe even nets at 4, not bad
i'll even get alvin gentry for offense assistant coach or those who works from ESPN maybe can coach,

look at the heat sweep 4 times, the scores are even closed, you got talent out there blatche kg pierce ak47 lopez williams johnson and a 3point shooter mirza, kidd should understand each players weaknesses, look at greg popavich, all players are involve, and i also think he give austin daye a chance of playing,

i don't see kidd winning next year with the nets, but if the coach was change? at least i cross my fingers top 3 or 4 seed in the east

Kidd is a nut-job...can't believe the Bucks are going to take some positive movement and throw it away with an egomaniac.  Oh well, when is Jabari a free agent again???

add Fred Hoiberg  lionel hollins jeff van gundy to the coaching list,
i'm not even disappointed, there's a lot of coach who is better than KIDD
i'm happy with cleveland new coach, doc rivers leaving is sad but we get a descent coach

there's a lot of coach who are better than jason kidd
if those hall of famers nba players can coach, i'll scout on them, like nuggets ans suns coach

if i was the nets i'd let milwaukee do more than just talk to him. they could wine him, dine him, use him, make him their love slave. whatever it takes to be free.

this is bad news imo. kidd showed he wasn't ready to coach, much less be a head coach. I was looking forward to him having to coach a roster that might not be that good...on top of him being a bad coach.

I wonder what if any compensation would be.  I hope it's not a future Bucks number 1 pick.

Who is crazier?  Jason Kidd for believing he deserves to be head of basketball operations or the Bucks for considering hiring him?

Actually, Jason Kidd would have helped those picks look better by coaching the Nets into oblivion.

Jason Kidd reportedly advocated to Brooklyn management to send Brook Lopez, and Mirza Teletovic to Milwaukee for Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova at the trade deadline last season.
