Celtics will and should pass on embiid.

I rather take my chances on randle

Randle had a broken foot in high school and is heading for foot surgery as well...Embiid is a much better prospect...

Randle is undersized and has t-rex arms, do. not. want

All college season long, they talked about Randle having t-Rex arms, then he measured a 7' wingspan at the combine.  I can't make sense of this.

Maybe his arms are scaley.

It's hard to imagine that Philly would take another injured player that will miss a good portion of the season.

Fyi, i just listened to the Simmons/Ford podcast and Ford basically admits that Embiid will not be there at #6.  If Orlando doesn't want him at #4, someone will trade up to get him.

Said it twice already, but it's worth saying again... I'd be completely SHOCKED to see Embiid fall to #6... if he falls that far, it means his health issues are even worse than we think... and at that point he'll probably fall out of the top 20 entirely.

YOU will be shocked, but not to people like Ford (who by the way in his latest mock has the Celtics taking Embiid.) and others. It could also mean that the teams except the top three did not receive his medical records and are picking blind.

Pretty much everyone I talk to is indicating that the Celtics are down to Randle or Smart at #6. Gordon seemingly third. Vonleh not in mix.

Vonleh's very unlikely to last until 6 is probably the best explanation for not being in the mix.

It would be great to pick up a real center in Embiid.

Philly has way too many draft picks NOT to gamble on Embiid.

Why is Cleveland trying to fly in Exum for a tryout?  Is it possible the Cavs are trading down in the draft?  Is Boston trading up?

I just heard Ford with Russilo put up about 3 hours ago according to Ford tweet.  Embiid's most likely going to the Cs.  I think a trade up into the top 5 is pretty difficult actually.

What are you talking about. Did you even watch the combine? He has a 7' wingspan and 8'9.5'' standing reach.....also he just recorded a 38 max vertical.

no and fine he has normal arms hes still an undersized pf and drafting a pf three years in a row would give me a migraine

I think it's because Randle has, very, broad shoulders. That's why they say he has T-Rex arms.
