Ok, let's look at the two most mentioned scenarios and what it would take for them to happen.
1) He stays in Miami - After Riley's "Get a Grip" speech, why would he? He's proven his point with two championships out of the last three years. Things are only going to get worse from this point on. Even if James, Bosh and Wade cut their salaries in half to make room for Anthony, they still won't have a "team" to contend with the Spurs next year (or any other West "team") He has nothing left to prove in Miami.
2) Going back to Cleveland - To me, this makes the most sense and could have the heart warming story ending if they ended up winning the championship also. Home is home...and the Cavs are in great position to put together a team around him that will be better than the one in Miami. He'll want the owner to open his wallet to the max, but I believe the publicity, the fence mending, the STORY would be a great one for the NBA.
Are these his only two choices? Obviously not, as Houston is mentioned often. But, to me, these are the two most likely scenarios. If he leaves Miami, it will be interesting to see what Bosh and Wade then decide to do.
June is turning out to be such a fun month!
