the way i see it now
1. Cavs - Wiggins
2. Bucks - Parker
3. 76ers - Exum
4. Magic - Smart
5. Jazz - Embiid/Gordon/Randle/Vonleh
6. Celtics - the leftover
If this is the case i can see the celtics having a super good chance to get embiid. Just flip the 17 and 23rd picks.
Apparently, Milwaukee really likes Exum, and because they already have their 3 of the future in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Parker might be available for Philly, even though they prefer Wiggins, so I still see a draft day trade between the cavs and sixers as a strong probability. That means for something like this -
1. Cavs - Wiggins (traded to sixers for numbers 3, and perhaps 10. You never know what the asking price will be, but I think it's safe to say that it will be relatively high, even though the cavs will 'somehow' receive the number 1 pick next year, depending on what happens with Lebron.)
2. Bucks - Exum
3. 76ers - Parker (traded to Cavs)
4. Magic - Embiid (there's no way the Magic pass up on getting a potentially franchise player in the big man. If they do pass on him, they'll take Smart.).
5. Jazz - Embiid (same as above, which leaves the Celtics in the familiar situation of 'so close, and yet, so far.')
6. Celtics - I'm not sure what happens then. Left to choose between Vonleh, Randle, and Gordon sounds like picking your poison, but I'll go with Randle.
I wouldn't get your hopes up, guys. We're not going to get him, unless Red can somehow work his magic up there, haha.
