It depends.  They can, or they can become chronic issues.  Look at Yao, and to only a slightly lesser extent, Brook Lopez.

Which would be a real shame if it continues to be a thing with him and proves to be something degenerative. 

This game is screaming for a 90s type big along the lines of (Olajuwon/Robinson/Ewing, etc...)  It's been awhile and would be great to have back in the game.   Just from an entertainment standpoint, it'd be great to see.
