Asamoah Gyan is scaring me. Really.

It seems like going to get a goal at some point. Two great chances already.

It looks like us has no ball skills at all, every touch goes to the other team. I'm curious to see the possession stats at the end of the game.

Ghana is controlling the game despite being down 1-0. This is not good for the USA.

I knew it.

They have been attacking the entire half, this was inevitable.

And that Gyan backheel pass, oh my Lord.

What was so frustrating about this game is that we scored in the 1st minute, then played prevent for the next 80.  Ghana finally scores because we just literally gave them possession the entire time and passed on taking any shots whatsoever, then we score like 3 minutes later.  If we had just tried to play for real, we would have won and it would have been watchable.

Anyways, Portugal did not look scary this morning, so maybe we advance.  Or maybe Germany is just that good....

Pepe with a ban. Coentrao and Almeida hurt. You want to play against the best, but Portugal is on a really tough break here.

I predicted the US advancing by beating Ghana and Portugal before falling to Germany in the final game.  Looks like the US might actually do it, which would be sweet.

Yup, this was an outright disaster for Portugal.  Their back line is gone.  Even the USA might be able to nick a draw with them under these conditions, but I rather doubt it.

That was a nice win but US needs to play bretter against Portugal. US defense played well, but the mids and forwards really couldnt keep any possession, and those long passes were killing me. One thing is for sure, Protugal is not gonna lose so ,any bunnies like Ghana did. The good news, most likely a draw is all US needs to advance.

I don't think there's any way that Michael Bradley will play as poorly in his next game as he did against Ghana.  I liked Alejandro Bedayo and really hope he'll be able to go against Portugal.  I also want to see Fabian Johnson get more involved in the attack coming up from the back.

I think we have a legitimate chance of going into the Germany game with six points.
