Is it too early to start propping up our players?

Never too early. And that Pierce clip was great. TP.

I didn't have too many guys running tonight, but an encouraging line from Mike.

Muscala 10 points 10 rebounds 2 blocks 1 steal in 23 minutes

Gasol was in prime form. Crash eh.

Line of the night may go to another manager's player though. We finally got to see Nikola Mirotic. 17 in a hurry, 5-9, 4-4, 3 3 3PTM, along with 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

Agreed, Muscala looked great, so did Hollis Thompson for that matter, but Mirotic stole the show, he looks legit. Too bad they don't count dives to the floor as a stat though, Crash was racking them up. I'm not sure they amounted to anything positive in the game, but he did dive for the ball whenever possible.

Two words: "James" "Young"

4 years younger than old-man Mirotic. ;)

I'll take that propping - Mirotic looked legit.

I'm not sure what I was more excited about, Mirotic's performance or Rose putting up 11 and 4 in 14 minutes.

The Bosnian Bear put up 2 pts, 9 rbs, 3asts, & a block.

Not bad for a 19 y/o kid who never played summer league.

All kidding aside, I am encourage by Rose's FIBA performance (he didn't play great, but had flashes) & first preseason game. Hopefully he has put the injuries behind him.

It will take 4.38 Tony Wrotens to acquire K-Love.

Not sure why you haven't made an offer for Vucevic -- then you could rename your team The Three Nikolas or NikolaNikolaNikola

I usually don't do this but i guess it's worth a shot... I don't mind keeping these guys but they don't fit immediately into my roster as constructed so maybe some other team is interested in them --- willing to do a 2-for-1 with any 3 of these guys.

Available Gainesville Celtics
aka guys i'm most willing to trade at slightly below value.

CJ Miles -- Paul George's presumed replacement avg. 1.6 3ptfg in 19 min/gm last year. I think he's gonna have a very big year (I'd even guess bigger than Teletovic who went for a #1 this year). I would move him for a 2015 #1 pick or (possibly) a comparable big man.

BTW, don't google CJ Miles images at work without including NBA  :o

Marcus Morris -- 1.2 threes, 10 ppg and 1 spg from the PF spot. He'll be playing with his twin brother in the  Suns' uptempo system for the next 4 years and he's only 25.

Khris Middleton -- Filled it up across the board last year and ended up as one of 3 GCs on Mk's All-Waiver Wire team last year. He's only 23 and will probably sign with another team and a bigger role this summer.
