Rosters are updated as of Oct. 2, 2014 and will be updated each Thursday night.

Just so no one thinks I'm ignoring them, I'll be away from my desk most of the day.

That sounds like a drag. Would it save your some hassle, have any downside to push up the date to move us over to Yahoo? Trade winds have died down, we've already had half a dozen guys prematurely post their final rosters, and it would better involve the few guys that rarely check the forums. Just a thought.

I was just trying to provoke BFM into posting a funny gif.

IIRC, The rosters are all updated just need like the last 2 deals to be fully updated.

Cutdown date will be next thurs. and we'll shift everything over then. Sorry i have a huge work conf. (1200 people; i produce all print materials...) starting tues so I think on Thurs. i'll have time to gather the lists and switch to Yahoo by Sat. before we go to Disney with my 2 year old. 

I'm gonna be (moslty) out of pocket starting Tues-Thurs, so i just decided folks could have those 2 extra days to wheel-and-deal.

In the meantime (and I'll send an annoucement out tonight via PM and Email) I think the easiest thing will be that once you submit your cut-down roster of 16 players here, go onto Yahoo! and select whichever of the 16 players you ended last year with that are still on your roster.

For some teams (like Utah and GC) this will be a low number, for some it may be all 16 players.

Then all I'll have to do is go in and assign whatever players (rookies, traded players) changed teams --- a relatively small # (say 40-50) of the 320 total players.

2. For your cutdown list you can post in the thread, PM me or email me a list. Please use this format:

2b. As per past practice, any team that does not post/email in their cut down roster will have it cut down by me and whatever band of idiots other GMs are in the thread Saturday morning.


3. Also by Oct. 16 you need to go onto Yahoo! and SELECT AS KEEPERS whichever of the 16 players you ended last year with that are still on your roster.

This way, hopefully all I'll have to do is go in and assign whatever players (rookies, traded players) changed teams --- a relatively small # (say 40-50) of the 320 total players.
