Ya'll gonna feel funny when Randle is getting a near double double , while Wiggins and Parker have to grow up.....learn to be men .....Randle is already there.

Randle now measured good......he's  a big dude.

He is THE Safe pick for the Celtics ..good parents.....right attitude like Sully .

Randle is going in top 6

Randle is for sure going in top 6.

I don't know if hes the safest pick.. I would go with Parker being the safest pick in terms of what you're getting.

Oh yeah I d take Parker , Wiggins , Embiid too......but after them is what I'm talking about.......they could be better than Randle and most likely Eventually will......

But the rest Exum, Gordon and all the rest is pure speculation .....huge gamble

Randle will make his mark .......from the first day of summer league .

Impressive measurements

Payne - 7'4 wingspan . Previously sites had him having 7'0 wingspan
Vonleh - 9'0 reach. Previously 8'10 reach
Mcdaniel - 6'11 wingspan. previously 6'9
Austin - 9'4 reach. previously 9'3 reach

Little improvements but help

Randle - 7'0 wingspan. Previously 6'10-6'11 wingspan
Exum - 8'9 reach. Previously 8'7.5 reach
Early - 6'10-6'11 wingspan. Previously 6'9
Warren - 6'10 wingspan. Previously 6'9

little doubt he'll make a mark in summer league since it's basically rookies and D-league players.  my main concern with taking Randle isn't so much his size but the fact we already have 3 other PFs under contract for next season (2 of which are still young and improving) and that Randle has looked absolutely clueless on defense in college.

if Danny takes Randle in the draft I have to believe it's on behalf on another team that's making a deal with Danny to move up while Danny grabs a slightly-later pick and another asset.

Some of these guys may still grow a tad especially if they are 18-20 years old

Give me attitude any day.....plenty of gifted Fab Melo with length but no drive or basketball skill....give me a player with Milsap or Sully s effort , doesn't mind a little blood and bruising playing around the bucket.

Rather have a 6'6 guy with heart who plays like he is 6 '10 ...than a wimpy 6'10 guy playing like he is 5'10 "

a little imo. His wingspan, reach vertical leap from standstill are still considered below exceptional for a PF vs a prospect like Vonleh

All those post up and unders, up fakes, bump and grind might of worked well in college but in the nba he can't be doing that most of the time.  He rarely took jump shots and hopefully he has improved that part of the game.

Randle to me is 1/2 Al Jefferson, 1/2 Antoine Walker .  I think he will be a good player, good for 14 pts , 8-9 rebounds avg a game. But not someone you can build a team around

I'm not sure that he rises because he was already highly thought of.  He certainly will not fall like many predicted.  There had been some speculation that he would measure poorly, then fall possibly as far as the 10-12 range.  I couldn't see him going that low even with poor measurements.  I think he goes no lower than 5 at this point.

I agree....... You gonna pass a sure double double for someone like Gordon who may learn to shoot and may not , pogo stick that can't shoot, or Exum....who maybe the next Wade or maybe completely overwhelmed by NBA talent .

Smart maybe the Next CP3 .....but I'm not risking that one in billion chance when Randle can kick tail right out of the block.

Don't mind a risk at #17 pick.......not wasting it if Randle is available in the first 6 picks

I like Randle a lot - for the record. Not so much for the Celtics though. If we stay at 5 and Exum is gone, I take him and see what happens with Sully and Olynyk but I'd be a bit disappointed overall. Probably understandably so.

I agree with you that Randle's game will have to change in the pros but I think he has the perimeter skills to adjust. I think he will be a good 2nd great 3rd option and at his peak be an 18-20pt 8-9rb guy

What's up with Kristap Porzingis?  That dude came out of nowhere.  I heard Fran Fraschilla mention his name on ESPN today.  Looked him up and saw that he's twenty-third on DraftExpress' current mock draft.

He looks decent in his video.  He's wicked long, can run the floor really well, finish at the rim, block shots, and he looks like he has a nice touch from the perimeter.

He looks like a twig, but he's still only eighteen.
