lol just a few dimes from the Twitter Paul Stoltz reports...
https://twitter.com/basketballnxt1

To summarize he's saying we get LA 2014 lottery pick+future Phoenix pick+Len+Frye+Nash's expiring for Rondo and Green.

Mr Stoltz Twitters gems...

Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  Feb 16
Monday will be a shocking day for some. Not saying anymore. NBA trades are heating up

Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  4h
Source now confirm Suns, Celtics and Lakers are working on a three team trade

'Source who works on West Coast says:

'We tried to call on Rondo this weekend (All Star weekend) but Danny seemed focused on 3 team deal.'

'LA feels if they land Rondo,Melo will be more open to leaving the Knicks for Hollywood

'

'Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  4h
@celticsblog
talks heated up over weekend. Celtics would receive Lakers first rd pick this yr, and a future first rd pick from the Suns.'

'Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  3h
@celticsblog
The Celtics would also receive Nash,Frye and Alex Len'

'Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  3h
The Lakers are weighing the option of drafting this yr & keeping Nash or trade 1rd & Nash for Rondo.
'

Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  2h
As I reported firstCeltics would get 2 first rd in the deal for rondo & Green,Plus expiring contracts, If nash retires, More $ off the books

Paul Stoltz ‏@basketballnxt1  13m
@Graham_Brunell @jhun88 Rondo Contract will be up, But Kobe will retire most likely by then. So they can choose from Rondo or @kevinlove
Not worth discussing... Paul Stoltz is some unemployed Celtic fan living in Fall River, Mass:  https://www.facebook.com/paul.stoltz.3

He's just trying to get a rise out of us.

Definitely a member of this forum.  People who make up fake rumors on twitter should be aware that it lists your real name and it's super easy to find stuff on google.  If I wanted to waste 10 minutes, I could probably figure out which of you is Paul Stoltz.

That's some quality stalking there.

And all without having to leave the comfort of his home (on the other side of the country). Progress in motion...

If it makes you guys feel less creeped out, I've shared multiple videos on this forum in the past linked to my YouTube... several videos that feature me.  Short films that I directed that clearly list my real name.  I'm fully aware it would only take a couple seconds for anyone to figure out who I am in the real world and all the many embarrassing things that go with it.  I don't feel too bad for exposing Mr. Stoltz.

Oh yeah, I seem to remember one with Michael Jackson.

The proposed deal seemed like too much from the Suns end for Jeff Green.

I am not buying this rumor at all. Trade Rondo for the other teams best player makes a lot more sense to me. Those two unprotected 1st rounders could be nothing more than a bag of Southwest Airlines peanuts.

No one ever trades their best player for another team's best player. It makes no sense. You're basically stuck in the same situation you were before the trade, except with a new player.

Yup .....this is why teams tank..".. To get that player that puts them in the hunt.....

No team has two first to give.

Teams that would be interested and fit for Rondo would be Houston, Golden St. and Bobcats. Long shot, Pacers.

There is no way Danny is going to trade Rondo before the draft IMO,it makes no sense .

1) Rondo going to a new team is going to make that team better this year meaning their draft odds will likely go down .

2) Why would Danny trade for a draft pick when he doesn't even know where in the lottery it will fall. It would be really dumb to trade a relatively young all-star PG for a pick that falls below 6 or 7 , and we end up with someone like Hood, or Harris for Rondo .

3) What if the c's pick falls out of the top 5? If we still had Rondo, we could trade that pick to add talent around Rondo.
If Rondo is gone and both our picks ( our own and the one we trade Rondo for ) fall out of the top 5 , then what?  We miss out on the top talent in the draft , and now no longer have our all-star PG .

Makes zero sense to trade Rondo before we know what the draft order will be . There is no rush to trade Rondo before Thursday .

Not taking a rumor seriously til the trade deadline is over.

Unless it is Woj writing it.

I probably would have taken Sam Smith with a grain of salt, but when Lowe turns around and says "yeah i heard the same," it's probably fairly reliable.

2 1sts for Rondo hardly seems like a strange place for Ainge to start.

Why's his employment status relevant? Ouch.

Oh I don't think that sounds crazy and that could be a baseline that's out there.

I meant more in regards to stuff like that three team trade and that junk.  Not taking the bait.

So that people realize he's not someone working for one of the many media outlets or tied (at least professionally) to any organizations.

I guess it's possible his mother's best friend's boss had dinner with Ainge and/or Croter recently.

If Rumor is true

Would Danny then take Hardaway Jr. and a future unprotected 1st (2018)?
