With vasquez going to tor. Is lowry going next
Vasquez and Lowry could work well together. Two very different PGs. Lowry with his speed and athleticism + hard nosed defense and scoring while Vasquez brings more size and muscle with playmaking ability. Lowry was able to function well alongside PGs offensively in the past and I believe Vasquez has had some success with Isiah Thomas in Sacramento.

I think that is a combination that could work well. With DeRozan in a three man backcourt. Or perhaps with DeRozan sliding over to SF to replace Gay and start both Lowry/Vasquez in the same backcourt. Get more minutes for Terrence Ross off the bench. Or Kyle Lowry as sixth man combo guard playing 26-28mpg with Vasquez-Ross-DeRozan starting. A couple of different combinations which could work if they choose to keep both PGs.

Don't know what Toronto are thinking again..NBA needs to get rid of that team..Already have a starting PG in Lowry..why they need Vasquez
Raptors are thinking ping pong balls.

Hopefully Valanciunas will get more touches now. Disappointed that Jonas hasn't been featured more in the offense after Coach D-Casey said he would be.

But they have a GM now who knows what he's doing.  Rudy Gay is basically a Jeff Green.  He's not a real star... just scores.  But he's actually really inefficient this year.  If anything he's just preventing the Raptors from full-blown bottoming out.  Simmons and Jalen Rose predicted this last week... they'd dump Gay so they could fully embrace the tank job.  7 franchise players coming up in this draft.

I barely care about either of these teams.  Which players stand to gain the most from a fantasy basketball perspective?  Any sleepers I should pay attention to?  Terrence Ross?

Well, add Toronto to the list of teams that will be worse than Boston.

Utah, Phoenix, Toronto, Sacramento, missing anybody?
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

So now the Kings should go all-in and trade for Rondo.

Rondo and Wallace for Thornton, Derrick Williams, Thomas, Fredette and multiple unprotected 1sts.   We dump Wallace's bad contract, gain a couple assets... Kings can ride dirty with PG Rondo, SG - Mclemore, SF - Gay, PF - Thompson, C - Cousins

Ujiri is likely going to trade Lowry as soon as he finds a good deal.

Danny really ought to be able to do better than that for Rondo once he's healthy.

Man, I would be pretty bummed with a Rondo trade to Sacramento. I guess Thomas is having a solid year (18/5) on decent percentages. McLemore is supposed to be decent. Williams, Fredette, etc are okay, I guess...they are terrible right now. I get the Gay trade, but not sure they have any top tier prospects to trade for a perennial all-star like Rondo.

The Celtics seem to be in a much better position than the Kings in terms of contending in the near future - more prospects, picks, and at least as much 'star' power. I don't get it at all from our perspective.

I would say from a fantasy perspective, that Terence Ross and Derrick Williams benefit the most from this trade today.

Nice deal for the Raptors.  Can't have Gay and DeRozan taking 30 shots a game each.

Rudy Gay has been so bad they might improve off this trade. Just chucking this year while doing little else.
