  • No no no, not THAT "Eric M Van".
Really, if you think about this, wasn't it pretty obvious the Kidd Koaching Katastrophy was just a matter of time?

I don't want to get too insulting but Koach Kidd is not exactly a jeenyus...

This has been brewing for awhile..

And even the blind squirrels at Bleacher Report found this nut.

Different philosophies?

Like, Frank understands coaching basketball while Kidd does not?

tp. you beat me to it. geez, what a farce the nets are becoming.
When I first saw this news flash I thought for a second that they were naming Frank head coach and firing Kidd, which of course would have been the right move.

Lawrence Frank began his NBA coaching career with the Nets, winning his first 13 games and setting a record for most consecutive victories to start a coaching career in any major US professional sport.

So yeah, let's get rid of him and keep this guy as current coach of the same team:

Oh, the irony.

No matter how they spin it, this isn't good for the Nets.  Less basketball experience under a head coach that has, umm none can't be a good idea.  Maybe they are planning to replace Frank with another coach with a lot of experience as well?  Or maybe it is just sink or swim time for Kidd.

do key injuries + frank getting the ax + veteran egos + loosing a ton of games = Kidd gone by the all star break?

I always thought is was weird that Kidd is the head coach and Frank was assistant when Frank was Kidds coach for so long...weird dynamic to me...

I think the most ridiculous thing about this is that the Prokhorov is now paying Larry Frank $6 million dollars to break down videotape.

It's not quite that bad.  He's probably paying Frank $6 million dollars to break down videotape and get coffee.

definitely weird. Your previous coach is your assistant now?

Your previous coach still prob feels like he knows more than you, so even if you have an idea, he probably sees it a different way.

I think thats what prob made Kidd mad.

You think he'll write passive aggressive notes to Jason Kidd?
