Would you trade Jeff Green for Omer Asik?

Certainly a good deal of debate comes up when discussing Green trades but I wonder how many people would make this move.

i certainly believe that DA will go for this but sadly houston won't. morey will ask for more.

This is a tough call, but I'm going to have to say yes. If Asik was anchoring our defense, I think that would literally save us 5-8 points per game. I like Green more and more, but Asik would be a better player to build around.

I would like to have some assurance that Asik would sign an extension next year so that he could be locked in to the rebuild.

this is a tough one I lean yes bc Green has struggled a little and quality bigs are hard to find. Id be more for it if we could get parsons and asik for like green bradley and a pick.

then turn around and trade Hump, Wallace, Lee for Amare and Shump.

Roster:
Pg- Rondo, Crawford, pressey
SG- Shump, brooks
SF- parsons, Bogans (hahaha)
PF- Sully, Bass, Amare
C- Asik, KO, Fav

then maybe trade Bass for a backup or decent SF

idk just flow thinkin not much behind it(like if realistic or not)

Probably, I like Asik going forward more than Green. Elite defensive Cs are more valuable than middle of the road starters at the SF position.

But I don't see Houston going forward with it and it doesn't really alter the C's position much for this year either.

  It's probably a sideways move that just creates another hole in the lineup, it depends on whether you think you can get a good sf or a good c more easily.

Yeah I'm warming to the idea. I was against it at first thought but like you said, good centers are harder to find than good wings.

I would not. I think Green has a lot more value than Omer Asik. Maybe I'm a homer though.
