Saw it on realgm

He would be a perfect fit with KO and Sully in our big man rotation

I would offer hmpheries and the clipper 2015 pick

Could also see if the would take wallace or lee and bass instead of humpheries

Pg: rondo.   / pressy
Sg: bradley / brooks
Sf: green.   / wallace
Pf: sully.     / bass of hump
 C: Asik.       / KO

Just make sure to keep rondo out til february so we can add a high lottery pick to that core

Here's the article:

I think it's going to take more than an expiring and a low 1st.

How about Bradley, Humphries, and the Clippers 1st for Asik and Motiejunas?

KO is not a center. He has trouble keeping position and leaps around like a ballet dancer leaving the basket open. Not a position guy and does not have the lateral quickness to play outside. Asik would be a big upgrade. Trade anyone other than Rondo, Bradley, green, KO or sully.

Doesn't leave much with which to entice Houston.

Bass, Crawford, and a good 1st rounder, maybe.

i think Bass and Lee makes more sense for both sides. I wonder if that would be sufficient, or if the pick would be needed.

No chance that they trade us Asik for Bass and Lee without a good pick, slim chance even with a good pick

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'm actually warming up to the idea of trading for Asik. Id been against it because I thought it would make us too good, but if we can't lose to Miami with the current roster, HOW CAN WE LOSE TO MIAMI?

Yeah, and Bass isn't the optimal player to put next to Dwight.

Perhaps Boston can get involved as a 3rd team, where Houston ends up with a prototypical stretch 4.

Trying to come up with a three team deal between BOS, HOU, and NO where Asik and Eric Gordon end up in Boston, and Ryan Anderson in Houston.

Not sure who/what goes from Boston to NO, though. Hump, picks, and who?

That would be a great trade, and if we are getting Eric Gordon, may as well ship Bradley and his future contract to NO.

Lee, I guess but we'd need more money. Bass? Just don't see it.
