fitzhickey certainly deserves credit for turning a pretty poor Dallas team into one of the better teams in a VERY competitive conference. It's crazy how some people thought he was a troll at the beginning of the draft (still disappointed in the vetoed LAL/DAL trade  >:() Hats off to him for his work!

Which LAL/DAL trade?
One that didn't happen

Oh alright guessing it wasn't vetoed just that it seemed a bit unfair for DAL so you asked LAL to up there offer.

(Same thing happened to me and fitz, but in hindsight it worked great for both of us)

Well it was vetoed so you'll never know  ;) I still strongly disagree with the reasoning behind the veto, but in retrospect we actually benefited by the trade not going through so I can't really complain. Besides, Nick's done a fine job with the rest of the draft so I'm definitely not going to give him crap over one little thing.

Definitely.  At one point, the starting lineup was what, Kanter, Faried, AK47, Gordon, and Parker?

Turning that into Big Al / Josh Smith / Luol Deng / Gordon / Nash is a pretty solid accomplishment.

I'm convinced Roy was Fitz secret CO-GM.

Hahahaha just messing. Fitz did a great job re-constructing that roster.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Without naming names, I'd say that roughly 12 to 15 franchises consulted me on trade ideas.  It was a ton of fun, seeing all the different ideas and the reasoning behind them.

I think Roy and I gave out a lot of free advise to a heck of a lot of GMs. Some used it some didn't. Fitz must have used it. Good for him. It will help solidify him as a future participant
