With one hour left, I want to compliment all of the GMs.
Traditionally, the late stages of the draft are when GMs go crazy, and sometimes blow up their teams in a panicky fashion. You see teams constantly go from contenders to pretenders, and very rarely in reverse of that.
This year, I've been really impressed by the quality of the post-drafting trades. There have been a lot of win-win deals put together, where teams have worked the phones to find trading partners that have fit well.
Among the really smart deals that worked out for the best of both teams were the Tony Parker for Nash + Smith deal, the Deng for AK47 + Kanter deal, and the Splitter for Hayward deal.
As an outside observer, I really like seeing the playoffs start with so many strong, well put together squads. It makes ranking and voting for teams a lot harder, which is a good dilemma to have.
