Dang, I think I might be headed on vacation during this time. I'm definitely glad I have a co-GM, but I'm super bummed I won't be there to advocate for my team's beastliness  :(

The importance of making a good or bad coaching selection.

Mike Budenholzer was arrested for a DUI last night. I have to now set back Washington some as he hired a rookie coach, who was arrested for DUI, who may have legal problems he has to deal with and might have lost the respect of his players.

How can a guy who got arrested on a DUI, expect his players to follow rules conduct on the road, curfews the nights before games, locker room rules, etc.?

It creates a bad dynamic.

To be perfectly honest, I've never cared one bit about who people take as coaches in this draft.  It's a non-factor for me.

I don't take coaching into account when analyzing these teams.

Woah what the heck you traded Al Jefferson for Kenneth Faried? Wow! That is the ultimate for-fit/screw-value trade. It's not much of an upgrade on defense, but Faried is certainly more active and mobile, and his rebounding will be a nice addition to your squad.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Hawks select:

DeJuan Blair
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I will definitely take it into consideration when trying to figure out things like rookie/young player contribution and development.
