The importance of making a good or bad coaching selection.

Mike Budenholzer was arrested for a DUI last night. I have to now set back Washington some as he hired a rookie coach, who was arrested for DUI, who may have legal problems he has to deal with and might have lost the respect of his players.

How can a guy who got arrested on a DUI, expect his players to follow rules conduct on the road, curfews the nights before games, locker room rules, etc.?

It creates a bad dynamic.

To be perfectly honest, I've never cared one bit about who people take as coaches in this draft.  It's a non-factor for me. 

I don't take coaching into account when analyzing these teams.

But some do.

i take it into consideration.  its all about the players for me, but in certain situations in post season voting, sometimes i factor it in making my decision.

Not much more roster tweaks are needed, so the Los Angeles Lakers select Michael Carter-Williams.

Personally I think he's a bust, but a lot of people are high on him, and he has a killer opportunity in Philadelphia this year. And how's Michael Carter-Williams | Jeremy Lamb | Ed Davis | Kelly Olynyk for some TOTF action? The Lakers now have a quality team for the now while stockpiling talent for the future. That's San Antonio Spurs level bossing right there.

Also, there's still quite a bit of solid talent left in the draft pool.
