The Minnesota Timberwolves are happy to select Taj Gibson
Shocked that Taj Gibson lasted this long. Excellent pick.

TRADE

Philadelphia sends Gerald Wallace, 10.19

Cleveland  sends Mo Williams, 12.9
THIS IS THE TRADE I RECEIVED FROM BOTH GMS WITH CONFIRMATIONS.

IS THIS THE TRADE?
I guess I wasn't paying attention, I thought I was getting the 10th rounder and Cleveland was getting my twelfth pick. I essentially moved back when I was getting Mo Williams. However, since I wasn't paying attention enough to catch it I'm fine with the trade being this, since it is my fault.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Solid. I would've looked hard at Gibson if I didn't already have Love/Young.

He had a tough year, but he's easy to like.

I have the ability to play LeBron at the 4, but I still needed a 3rd big man capable of minutes on account of Jordan's FT%/4thQ issues. Gibson is a fantastic pick-and-roll defender, shot blocker, energy guy and posted solid per-36 numbers this past year. Doesn't spread the floor very well, but is athletic and moves well for a 6'9"/6'10" guy.
2013 CB Draft Champions*: Minnesota Timberwolves

We don't have these picks, so it won't work anyways. Check PMs, ET. I changed it to what it should be, we just need your confirmation. I wasn't trying to screw you over; honest mistake on my part as well. We should be sending the 10th for your 12th.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
From my perspective, the Mod Squad is probably a lower-end playoff team, and certainly not a contender.

And that strikes me as the optimistic view. With Gallinari missing from one to three months, do the Celtics have the night-in-night out production to make the playoffs? Particularly, with early chatter that Gasol will have his minutes monitored, to protect him for the postseason. That's going to press Valanciunas, a player I love and targeted, into second option scoring duty, a tough prospect, that also puts pressure on the players behind him in the pecking order, Splitter, Stephenson, and Fournier, none of whom have yet shown the ability to reliably get 12 points per game.

Fournier is another player I like a lot, but he just failed to make the French national team, penciling him as a third option scorer at SF in Gallos absence may be optimistic. He's just 20 and is also a little light at that spot, 6'6" and 200 lbs.

Meh. Gallo's back by december, that'll be tough for the interim, but we still have picks and time. Splitter though and Valanciunas can play together for large stretches, especially against second units, and Fournier looks like the real deal (although I'm perplexed he missed out of the French National team, I'm sure this is gonna be a pick that looks better at the All-Star break than it does now).

Like I says before, they're all starters, all players who can do something now and in the future, and arguably should improve coming into next season, and they all have the benefit of being drafted by me.

Edited by IP?

You quoted it wrong, with my name instead of Roy's. Just cleaned it up a bit, ya paranoid weirdo. Frankly, I think all our banter about DANNY GRANGER has had a DEGENERATIVE effect on our relationship. I'm no weak-KNEEed backstabber, I'd never alter your post in a way that was inaccurate or self-serving. Some thing are beyond reproach, sir.

I only asked because I couldn't find an edit. THE Walker Wiggle does have some priors on his record for masked profanity and meanness.

I am impressed by your commitment to keeping Granger's DEGENERATIVE KNEE CONDITION in the discussion, but maybe get wdleehi to help out the cause, so you can spend some at that time on a draft board? I'm a fan of Masai Ujiri and by extension Fournier but he would've been available same time tomorrow.

STATEMENT

Twice today I was given a lot more work than is necessary because GMs are sending in improper trades or are not writing their team names in or are trying to trades last minute with only 5 minutes between picks or whatever.

Please use the following format when sending in a trade:

Team A sends: Player A, pick 123
Team B sends: Player B, pick 456

I want the trade typed by each GM and I do not want just CC's confirming trades. Trades in any other format will not be accepted from this point forward.

Is that sure? I'd thought he wasn't willing to commit to a timeframe?

This procedure changes completely my rehab and recovery time. But I'll inform you later about that.

They may want decide to bring him back slowly? His ACL procedure had to be delayed because he was still recovering from meniscus surgery to the same knee. He only played in 43 games in 10-11 and averages just 57.

Any word if these multiple KNEE injuries indicate a DEGENERATIVE condition? Similar to DANNY GRANGER'S? (Saving you some trouble.)

Where did you get this from? I thought his time frame was completely up in the air and that it was a very real possibility of him not making it back by the end of the calendar year.

Washington is happy to nab Mike Dunleavy although we did have our hopes set on Marcus Thornton before somebody stole him.

Are you happy that you stole Mike Dunleavy from the Nuggets? I mean we had Lee which is great but you ruined the Mile High City, so, enjoy.

The one I read was that Gallo's partially torn ACL had a probable return of Decemeber, 'According to a league source', if that's the same as your link, that's fine.

And I'm not sure that Gallinari's and DANNY GRANGER's injuries are related at all, or that Gallo's indicates a DEGENERATIVE condition in any fashion. Dealing with KNEES is always a crapshoot, but with Gallo's prognosis remarkably positive considering the initial dire news, and the fact that he's on a team I'm a part of, leads me to believe he will come back fully recovered, and with adamantium bones.
