Boston selects Evan Fournier and kinda wishes we'd made a list

Nice pick. I love his game.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
lol jameer u old

Hawks take Jameer Nelson, who moves Jeremy Lin to the bench and does nothing but pass and shoot 3s all day, if he knows what's good for him.

CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

With the 15th pick in the 6th round the San Antonio Spurs select:

Kemba Walker

He's already learning the Wiggle.

This was the guy I was shocked at being available.  I don't want to step on Wiggle's team promotion, but check out this comparison:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=crawfja01&y1=2013&p2=ellismo01&y2=2013&p3=jennibr01&y3=2013&p4=walkeke02&y4=2013

That's Jamal Crawford, Monta Ellis, Jennings, and Kemba.  Kemba was arguably the best or second-best of the group last year, but gets forgotten because Charlotte is so horrible.  Nice pickup.

I feel even better about the pick after looking at those comparisons.

I also like the Walker/Iguodala pairing - having such a strong secondary ball handler should allow Kemba to stay aggressive.

Kudos on the Collison pick by the way. He's long been a personal fave, and is consistently one of my draft targets. His box scores will never knock you over, but he plays winning basketball on both ends.

I'm not going to pile on my fellow mods too much, but I think maybe they've gotten a little too cute this year.

Any of the remaining 7th rounders care to trade down with the Lakers?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I'm not going to pile on my fellow mods too much, but I think maybe they've gotten a little too cute this year.

Kyrie Irving
Lance Stephenson/Evan Fournier
Danillo Gallinari/Evan Fournier
Pau Gasol/Gallo/Splitter
Tiago Splitter/Jonas Valanciunas

I don't really see the problem. Shooting, defense, high-upside. All done with the crappiest drafting spot and zero time from either of us..could be better, but I think it could be a lot worse.

Thanks TWW, Blatche was top on my list but Collison was a close 2nd.  Need a great intangible guy as my 4th big, and there are few better than Nick.

Big TPs to the other Nick, the commish, for making my picks.  Thanks for absolutely crushing the commissiating, which is a word I just made up but seems to fit.

Just fire the marketing department. Bottom five in attendance doesn't need to be a tradition in Atlanta.

I will say this, round-by-round, Champ might have CB's highest overall success rate. He consistently finds solid rotation players.

Look at their roster.
