Did mod squad just select before KC's time was up?

For their sake, I hope so, so that they can void their pick.  :P

Didn't KC take Dalembert?

Yes he did. Things have been moving so fast I missed it.

My bad guys.

Things are going haywire here...there is really only one solution. Have your pick ready for one minute after the time expires for team picking in front of you.

12:55 here I come.

With the 15th pick in the 6th round the San Antonio Spurs select:

Kemba Walker

He's already learning the Wiggle.

Is this the best alignment of value and need so far this draft?

This is the guy I was talking about earlier. I don't understand how he dropped so far and was taken behind the likes of Vasquez and Felton. I seriously considered Kemba as far ahead as the 4th round when the Lakers were looking for a PG.

Kemba made HUGE strides last season and improved on a lot of weaknesses from his rookie season, and considering nearly all PGs make "The Leap" in the 3rd year, Kemba in the 6th round has to be one of the biggest steals on CB draft this year.

Congratulations Spurs!

The Heat are in the chat, talkin about Nerlens Noel's knee.

I assume that they are talking about how jealous they are that I now own it =)

Mod squad selects Lance Stephenson

Eww.  I don't understand this one.

A shooting guard with a history of disciplinary issues who averaged 10.9 points per 36 minutes, with mediocre shooting numbers?

Shooting guard who overcame disciplinary issues to be one of the hardest workers in the lockerroom (well, he still shoots his mouth off a little, particularly at the opposition). Averaged 12 pp36 over the last 3 months of the season, game got better as the season went on, and he started 72 games for the 2nd best team in the East last year. That's more than Eric Gordon, Dion Waiters, or any number of guys previously selected at the 2 have accomplished in the past season.

He held starting opposing 2's to a 12.4 PER, I can't really complain about that from a 22 year old player still finding his ceiling.

Didn't take him at 6.12 because I thought he would fall 10 more picks.

I would have bought a beer for you if you were able to nab Kemba at 6.22.

Oh wow I did skip KC, that's my bad man I was counting down Atlanta, and I've never been able to put 2 and 2 together that you were miami.

He's been at the top of my draft board for too long. I even made a couple of attempts to trade back in to the 5th after tempting fate drafting Thad Young first.

Haha.  So, the shooting guard you drafted in the 6th is better / more productive / more accomplished than the shooting guard you drafted in the 4th?

If you don't even believe that, why should anybody else?  And, for a guy who is seen as better on offense than defense, how is "12 pp36 over the last 3 months of the season" a good thing?
