Tiago Splitter

I like it.

SF: Pau Gasol
PF: Enes Kanter
C: Tiago Splitter

When having twin towers just isn't enough. 8) 8)

Like I told you, they will trade Kanter for a better player and better picks.

I'm afraid that they will be able to trade Kanter for an even better player. Knowing IP firsthand, it's possible.

You should check your memory sir.

Bulls Send: Kyrie Irving, pick used on Jeremy Lin, pick used on Harrison Barnes
Cavs Send: Tyson Chandler, pick used on Derrick Rose, pick used on Shane Battier

Chicago Bulls send: Jeremy Lin (I got him back), Kenneth Faried
Cleveland Cavs send: Jrue Holiday, Thad Young

Those are the two trades I pulled with you last year. The first one, if you'd kept Irving and the picks, is a hands-down slaughter of a win for you. The second one is pretty even, depending on how you see Faried, but I'd say I won that one by a slight edge.

People keep on throwing out the, 'knowing indeedproceed the trades will blah blah fart noises blah blah' but let's take a look at the other trade that people think was 'soooooo lopsided omg!!'

Sixers send: Pierce, pick used on Meka Okafor (6.4), pick used on Jeremy Lamb (12.9)
Bulls send: Pekovic, Dudley, pick used on Shannon Brown (8.20)

Which side of that deal would you want now? In his prime Pekovic and useful Dudley or Pierce, Meka, and never-saw-the-floor Lamb?

You guys kill me with the 'IPs trades are so unever'. I go after guys who have value, I trade them for guys (or the opportunity to draft guys) I value more. But I'm never trading crap for gold, cuz I never end up with crap in the first place.

Well, someone on this team is headed out of town sooner or later. My guess based on the multi-paragraphed hype article from a Utah Jazz blog, is that its Kanter. Question is: can Boston get fair value given they selected him in the mid 3rd round and its coming on the second half of the 4th round already? Will someone give up a starting quality wing player for a role playing 2nd string center that shows some promise? We will see!

Nonsense.  The league is deep in swing men.  We still have another 4th rounder to go.

But talented size, that's quickly disappearing.

And I'm not knocking you for it, don't get me wrong.

Okay...no problem, its nonsense. Obviously you decided to draft your backup center a round before your starting center. Disregard what I said, Boston is keeping Kanter.

I think you keep the three of them together. Tough physical trio. Very hard to matchup against. A 7-0 250lb Pau Gasol, a 6-11 270lb Enes Kanter, a 6-11 250lb Tiago Splitter. Not many teams have the bodies, skilled size with heft, to matchup effectively against those trio. Can all play effectively alongside one another. I say keep them together.

The team already has a top creator on the perimeter already in Kyrie Irving. So they don't need major (star talent) reinforcements on the perimeter. A couple of role player wings would finish off that perfectly. A strong backup guard perhaps.

There is always someone out there that can see the larger plan.

I traded 2.20, 3.20 for 1.18 and 6.18

What part, exactly, of that trade is uneven?

Phoenix selects another young guy to run our offense:

Jeff Teague

This was a hard pick considering the pg's left and other positions. But I needed a pg
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
