TRADE

Houston trades: Greg Monroe, 2.15, 4.23
Denver trades: James Harden, 3.22, 5.22

Big trade.  Have to see who they put around their respective guys but I like it a lot better for Houston so far.

Can't really contend with Monroe as your #1, though you can put a nice team of the future together.

Didn't want to do it, but the run of big men is going fast so i'm stuck (at least I think I am) with the dilemma of get the best big left but not have enough wing depth or get a very good one, take a beating from the rest of the crew and just build from there.

2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Yoki actually formally presented me with this offer. It was vetoed at first but we got around to re-working it because he had a very good reason for trading Harden.

I don't think I agree with this you trade the best SG when there is still some quality big men and some of these have gone unnoticed and might even be available in the 3rd round.

*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I could of given you a better offer Yogi.

So could I if I knew he'd get Monroe in return.

Also, before winning it all, my main goal was not to make any trades unless I was the one committing robbery or just don't trade at all. I'm no smooth talker but I've been had by enough on this blog through trades  ;)
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I'm not picking till 2.22. I expected the draft would be evened out with bigs and wings but the ran rough shot on the bigs. Even if I somehow manage to be patient and get lucky, then the third will be a free for all of good wings and guards, and I'm back to the same dilemma and end up with Harden along with decent pieces.

Harden is a franchise player no doubt, but Monroe is a very good player, he's highly underrated in this board (thanks BATF). If I play my cards right with my two 2nd's I can offset whatever Harden offers offensively (he doesnt offer much defensively anyways).

It came to a point where I'd rather have three very good players than 1 franchise, one good and one decent.

As of right now, the trade seems one sided, but last time I check I still have to draft in this round, twice might I add.
