My thoughts on the Monroe/Harden Swap

Harden being drafted with your own pick (ie you didn't have to trade up to select him) pretty much guarantees you a spot in the playoffs. He was the #4 overall pick so if you were willing to take him that high, you must have thought that he would have led you farther than all the rest.

Monroe will not be enough to go deep in this tournament by himself. Hopefully you have some shrewd drafting/team building concepts in mind to win over the posters here. Generally, whoever gets the best player in the deal wins the deal. Good luck Yoki.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
James Harden was able to singlehandedly with a few other guys raise Houston's record from a measly .515 and 9th in the West to a whopping .549 and 8th.  Game changer!

...I guess what I'm saying is, he puts up good numbers but is he really that valuable?

Boston selects Jrue Holiday

Nice pick, it must be nice having Kyrie and the Kyrie stopper.  ;D

Yep, that's pretty much what I'm trying to do, hopefully.

I do this pretty much every year (trading superstars), it's fun to do it again.

With Pick 2.15, the Mile High City selects Oakland, CA. own (all Bay all day)

Damian Lillard

That should offset some of the Harden setback.

I felt like the mods would be my biggest threat so I knew I had to get Jrue and now I have 3 all stars.  8)
