I know a few picks have passed, but the Minnesota Timberwolves would like to acknowledge the acquistion of Serge Ibaka after trading up in the 2nd Round of the 2013 CB Draft to select him.

Wolves' President/GM McHales Pits Quote: "We are thrilled that we have been able to secure the rights to Serge today during the draft. He is an elite defensive presence that has led the league in blocks for three straight seasons. Not only is his defense elite, but his offensive game is also one of the best in the game. He has been in the top-10 for field-goal shooting percentage in each of the last three seasons as well. His offensive game has expanded to include a mid-range jumper that can extend to the three point line. LeBron and Ibaka provide numerous defensive options thanks to their versatility. We will continue to supplement our roster to build on our team identity of defense. Welcome to the team Serge."

With the 12th pick in the 2nd round of the CB Draft the Milwaukee Bucks select:

MIKE CONLEY

His son's still on the board, then, right?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Point of information: Can we go past our time without risking being skipped immediately while we have a conclave of the mods?

Very, very reluctant to stop the run on centers, But with the 11th pick in the second round, the San Antonio Spurs select:

Andre Iguodala

Boo. hiss.

Is that a compliment? And what do you think of Drummond high in Round 2? I've been waiting on you to weigh in. I expect him to take major strides this season, with only that sub-40 free throw percentage holding him back.

Now if I were Joe D. I'd drive Andre cross-county to Ricky Barry's house myself, while I still had some leverage over the kid.

I really wanted to pair Iggy with Bosh so it's a compliment. And Drummond was taken way to early for a game that is " Make thebest team mostly based off last season unless IP and Roy are pitching a team."

Big trade.  Have to see who they put around their respective guys but I like it a lot better for Houston so far.

Can't really contend with Monroe as your #1, though you can put a nice team of the future together.
