Sorry my pick is so late .... i was looking up eviscerated.

Memphis Grizzzzz turribly select Victor Oladipo

This isn't your fault, but I won't be valuing Oladipo very high.  Too many years of IP selling his rookies as the next big thing, only to see them look like...  rookies.
I was going to pick him at 17, from what I have seen of summer league I expect him to be rookie of the year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
And then the blood clot, which is life threatening but no career threatening, so Andy is fine.

I agree.  He would have been playing late in the season / in the playoffs, if the Cavs weren't tanking.  The clot was a freak injury.

I wouldn't even consider it an injury. It's a severe illness that kept him out. But at the same time, maybe kept his body fresh.

And he's my backup Center. I can build a team around Lowry and Andy and still be competitive, and that's my 2nd unit.

To be honest, I agree and usually think rookies get taken too high in CBD... but I took Oladipo b/c:

a) i think his defense and hustle translate better than other skills rookies usually bring to the table.

b) with CP3 running the show -- and with how we anticipate building out the rest of the team -- he's not going to be asked to do more than a rookie should

c) i usually never take that big a gamble, and just felt like rolling the dice on the kid. I like what I see in his game...

From what I understand, Dallas has two trades that are in the confirmation process.

Hat tip to fitzhickey for remaking his starting lineup into one that makes a lot more sense.  The other two teams involved got fair returns (even good returns), as well, so from my perspective, they seem to be the rare win-win trades.

And Dallas still has Tony Parker, which counts in their favor.

Never had more than one trade in the office that was not processed for a team thus far.

I think when it comes to injuries, too many here play the gamesmanship card and their guys will be healthy and they bring reasons and articles x, y, z to the table and the other guys do the same.

Yes, every injury is different and the possibilities of each playing returning and being healthy are different. But, I have heard WAY WAY WAY to many stories about how Bynum was going to be back because of this and Varejao was going to be back because of that and Michael Redd was going to be back because of this and Bogut was going to be back because of that and and Rose was going to be because of this and Amar'e was going to be back because of this in this game only to see during the season that those things didn't happen to listen to the stories anymore.

For me, if they have an injury history, your not getting the benefit of the doubt with my vote and I'm not going to give it to some and not to others. Been burnt by this way too many times to listen to the PR regarding injuries.

Steph Curry

Ricky Rubio

Which is really just to prepare first time GMs, nobody much concerns themselves with who was actually right or wrong after the smoke clears. Games within games.

Yep, I do, so long as he stays in a 6th man role (which I know he will).

I'm a jerk face but I'm not fat. You hurt my feelings BG.  ;D

Back to topic. Crawford is a really good pick. I guess it's too mush of a wish to have him drop 5.20.
