Like Boston the previous 3 days if Chicago wants to take until 1:30 to make their pick or work out a trade, go ahead. We are at lunch. See you in a half hour.

So did I, he'd be perfect for my super bench mob.

Excellent choice.

With the 11th pick in the 5th round the San Antonio Spurs select:

Thaddeus Young

Thad Young is one of the more underrated players in these drafts. People are always trying to make him a 3, or if they aren't high on him for the wrong reasons, they think he's unskilled or just plain not that good.

But he's really pretty good. An elite sixth man, a pretty darn good starter, you can't hope he's gonna stretch teh floor but he does so much else, he's well worth the pick here. 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, nice.

BPA on my board. He's the other-side of Jeff Green's coin. Durable, high character, swiss-army knife 3/4s from the 2007 draft, yet Young has been underrated throughout his career and Green overrated.

Thad is the more efficient scorer, a better rebounder, better defensively, and more careful with the ball. Green is a far better shooter. Thad is a year younger.

Shame a gutted 76ers team isn't the ideal showcase.

If i didn't need spacing and shooting he was the pick I wanted today. Nice
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Good. So I wont feel rushed at 5.14 due at 1:40.

Plan to take most of my time, weighing through options/offers. Apologies if somebody is in a hurry.

Very excited. As excited as having Lillard drop 35 on him.  ;D

How underrated is Thad? IIRC i took home at 5.1 in my first CBD in 2008 (?) and he's much better (more consistent at least) now.

Nice pick.

I like Young as a small PF.  Don't make him a power SF.

With Kevin Love in the lineup I think the Spurs can have Thad Young at SF.

Then the team will not get a player that is as effective.
