  • Let's Go Celtics!
I'll bet you eight dollars and thirty-nine cents that Gerald Wallace plays more PF minutes for the C's than Bass plays at the 5.
I'll bet you that Wallace is not going to risk another concussion, and Jeff Green will mop up all the minutes at PF if needed.

I think that has more to do with his style of play as opposed to what position he plays. They call him Crash for a reason.  I think at this point in his career, he's more effective at PF than at SF. Though I do think he needs to be more conservative with his style of play.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I did like him taking exception to the age bit.

"I'm not that old. I'm 28."

Totally. He's nearly ten years younger than the PF that BKN was dying to unload him for.

Kris on his future in Boston:

Quote
Kris Humphries realistic on future in Boston: "After talking to Danny, he doesn’t plan on putting me in any trades, but things happen. It’s the NBA. If something comes up that better for the team, then I’m sure that the team will do it. You never know. As of today, I’m here and I'm preparing to be here. I’m focused on that."

Doubt it. Kris has been wearing 43 his entire career.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

watching the Cs presser today makes me want to vomit. 4 stiffs and Brooks
They should hire three random people and put jersey that say first round picks on them, so that we don't feel like we are only getting stiffs out of trading Pierce and KG

Could have done the Clint Eastwood empty chair thing.

"And this young man is our starting power forward in 2021, averaging 21 and 10. He's currently in the 6th grade."

Didn't read the whole thread, but where was Gerald Wallace?

http://www.csnne.com/boston-celtics/celtics-introduce-newest-players

in that video , I don't see him .

Also, could Kris Humpheries sound any less enthused about joining the C's? Guess he knows he is gone as soon as Danny finds a good trade partner .

We can't have this guys wearing a Celtics jersey

Maybe you should read page two. ;)

He was running a hoops camp that day.

Don't know enough about Humphries as a person to make a judgment on him.

He's leaving a contender to come to a rebuild that he knows he won't be a part of. Rumors abound about Wallace and Humphries being shopped. He looked like he was pouting up there and I wanted to punch him in the face for barely elevating his Celtic's jersey above his waist,

BUT...as a player....

....all I know is we could have used him bigtime last year.... this year his value to us is only as an expiring/player who could get us assets by helping put a contender over the top with his rebounding at the deadline, if not before.

I know KH didn't seem too enthused in the presser but maybe that's just his personality. I know he's a hard worker and a hustle guy on the court. He seems happy to be here in a calm way.

Kris Humphries ‏@KrisHumphries 3h

Officially a Boston Celtic...excited to get to work!!!

Kris Humphries ‏@KrisHumphries 1h

Sticking with number 43 #Celtics http://mob.li/_qqFTp
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
