Bogans seems professional, though it's obvious he doesn't want to end his career as a backup on a rebuilding team.

Check that.  Bogans seems VERY professional.  Seems he really wants to fill his role on court and in locker room despite team being young.

Also according to Humphries in regards to a talk with Ainge--They're still trying to make the playoffs.

Bogans is saying that Celtics Tradition precludes them from tanking.

Brookes is stoked to get out and run.

Humphries is definitely a jerk, but he seems to be a funny jerk.

Well, he's our jerk now, at least until 30 seconds after this presser when Ainge trades him for a bag of balls.

If he was being real he would say that he is the luckiest man in the NBA making $5 MM in order to facilitate the trade. I don't think he made that much in the last three years combined.

I really like Bogans attitude. Brooks really wants to make this work and Hump should retire and call it a career. What a clown.  This presser is the LAST place he wants to be!

I don't think Bogans will play much, but seems like a guy who'll be a solid veteran in the locker room.

Why no Kris Joseph?  Just heard a mention of "four outiders trying to come in", words to that effect - not five.

I think, without it being specifically mentioned, Kris Joseph is either going straight to D-League or is getting cut.  Ainge didn't mention him and the players aren't mentioning him.  They keep saying "four players."  Bogans, Brooks, Humphries, and Wallace.

Joseph was here last season is why i think he is not there

Well, if they viewed him as actually returning to the team, I think he'd be there so the reporters could ask about his experience returning.  Seems to me, though, that he may be a longshot to even get a camp invite, if he's not being discussed at all here.  Probably good news for Brooks Crawford.

Maybe the Celtics are trying to set a league record with Joseph, seeing how many times that they can consecutively get rid of the same player in his career. Looking forward to next year, when Ainge trades for KJ again and then cuts him for the third time.

Bogans is #4, Marshon is #12, Humphries is #43. No word on Wallace--not sure if this is news.

That's my exact take on him.

I guess Gerald gets to keep his #45...or did we retire Raef Lafrenz's jersey yet?
