A highly edited television show which was clearly going to show his ex-wife in a favorable light.

Like someone else said earlier, these pressers are almost always awkward. This one was no exception.

Give me a break with this booing B.S. on Humphries, or calling him Kardashian, etc.

If he's giving you a double double this year nobody is booing anybody.  He's going to be a perfect trade chip at the deadline & we need him to produce like he did 2 years ago.

You don't know the man, don't label him as a jerk or this and that.  My word.

I believe that most people here commenting on him, including myself, are speaking on his actions and body language during this presser which appeared to be that he didn't want to be there and has no interest in being a Celtic. I will speak for myself when I say that's MY observation and I have a right to say whatever I please about what I feel about him.  I could care less who he was married to or what he did anywhere else. He's putting on the Green and white right now, so either he represents or he gets talked about just like anyone else would!

I don't think so.  I think most are just pre-judging him from a stupid tv show, etc.

I also think that 1st impressions are everything. Some already didn't care for him anyways and then he gave a dry half attempt during the presser. If he plays well then people will change their minds, but can't fault people for feeling a certain way after how he presented himself.
Honestly I think he's a jerk, but if he plays hard I don't care how much of a jerk he is.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz

I agree! I mean, I was yelling at the video for him to hold his jersey higher, act like he wants to be here, but it's w/e! I actually like him, he is a very hard worker and does exactly what we need, REBOUNDS! I never watched the Kardashians so there is nothing for me to worry about there. He is a good (overpayed for a season) player. I'm not booing any Celtics! He said we aren't tanking (everyone keeps saying it), he said he and Ainge spoke about it. All of them said we are trying to win games/make the playoffs, a few times.

Poor KJ is an afterthought, guy will probably looking for a team soon, not ONE mention of him.

I like Bogans, we need one old guy who's been there and done that to help the coach... someone way past trying to be/being a star.

Stevens comments are a bit repetitive, but I somehow find myself liking him more and more each time I see him. He is exactly who we need at this point, just seems to have his priorities in order and he's very humble!

I hope everything/everyone works out for the Celtics! I hope everyone truly gives their all to get us back into contention, hopefully sooner rather than later. Let's go Celtics fans!!!!!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Bass is the most logical trade guy right, because he's useful to a lot of teams, not massively overpaid, and he's unnecessary in a rebuild.  They're going to give KO a lot of minutes, Sully's still a big part of the future, and Gerald Wallace is going to play more (and I think better) than I believe people expect.  Bass seems like fourth-string right now, so trade him while you can.

I think Bass is and should be ahead of Kris Humphries on the depth chart and I think he will get some minutes at center that some people don't expect him to, if he is on the roster.  I don't think Wallace is going to be playing much PF.

Label him a jerk, call him every name in the book if you want.  You still don't know him.

On the floor, he plays with passion and works hard.  He's not short changing anything out there.

He's in a contract year and I expect him to perform pretty darn well & wind up being a pretty nice trade chip that helps Danny Ainge nab another young asset when its all said and done.

What a sad presser. Brooks is the only thing player wise that I would keep. Humphries needs to go now...what DB

Humphries is over paid...I hope they can get something more than a second round pick for him

I did like him taking exception to the age bit.

"I'm not that old. I'm 28."

That was a refreshing change from the usual coached PR stuff.

I agree.  Everything up there today was one giant cliche.  I have no problem with him saying as much.  Hard to act all that enthusiastic when they know perfectly well that they're regarded as throw-ins along with the first rounders, and that they're not regarded as part of the future.  Did you expect them all to be sporting Lucky holding the trophy tattoos on them?  Come on.  This was strictly kabuki.  It had a strange funereal feel to it.

Bogans seems professional, though it's obvious he doesn't want to end his career as a backup on a rebuilding team.

Check that.  Bogans seems VERY professional.  Seems he really wants to fill his role on court and in locker room despite team being young.
If he was being real he would say that he is the luckiest man in the NBA making $5 MM in order to facilitate the trade. I don't think he made that much in the last three years combined.

Luckiest?  Humphries made 12M for two for essentially the same reason.

I've always loved Bogans.  Thibodeau did too.  He will be a GREAT presence in the locker room.

Right on.  My "jerk" and "booing" comments had nothing to do with his side work on tv.  I've never watched reality tv (though I know it exists).

The guy came in with a lousy attitude, mumbled through his answers, showed very little respect for Ainge or the organization, and seemed completely disinterested in being a Celtic and helping the Celtics win games.

That is why I labeled him a "jerk."  Perhaps, I should have labeled him a "poor sport."

Everyone in the game knows he was brought here for his matching salary and that he'll be traded as soon as humanly possible.  But, that still doesn't excuse his unprofessional attitude.  Other people have tougher jobs than him and aren't rewarded as handsomely.

I've never booed a Boston Celtic before (that I can remember), but I feel like we have to boo Humphries if he ever steps foot on the parquet in a Cs jersey.

Echoing everyone else's comments... he's a massive jerk.

He barely even held up his jersey for the photo.
Ugh. Judgmental fans.

Yeah, he should be excite to play in front of people like you who just want to insult him before he even gets on the floor.

Humphries is overpriced and overexposed, but the dude can rebound.

You have to wonder about people who form opinions about others due to reality TV shows.

The press portrays the situation like he is just a bag of meat and that Celtics want to ship him out as soon as possible. Why should he show any loyalty or attachment to a team that hasn't yet shown a genuine interest in him?
