When is Danny trading Humphries?

Nah, guys play with other players they've had minor tussles with all the time. 

The first thing Rondo will probably say to him, though, is; "darn you.  You cost me my assist streak."

Humphries is in a contract year. Players, his age, usually have career years trying to get their maximum worth. He may be very valuable around the trade deadline.

Danny has to trade at least one, if not two PFs.  I prefer it be Bass and Humphries.

There is no way Humpheries expiring contract is being traded , unless we are getting Kevin Love or Aldridge type. If you can combine Humpheries with picks for a player on that level, then by all means do it.

But....

Danny is not trading him just because we have a log jam at pf. Any team that wants him is going to be because of his expiring contract, meaning the c's have to take long term salary back . No way Danny is doing that as we are trying to rebuild .

Bass is much more likely to be traded IMO.

I was in no way saying we take anyone back for Humphries or Bass.  We could do some 2-1 deals but we need to unload these guys for picks or to facilitate sign and trades for other teams.

There's absolutely no incentive for Ainge to try and trade Hump. Unless we're talking about acquiring a top notch player, we're better off having Hump play out the year and shed his contract once it expires next offseason.

I still prefer the thought of Ben Gordon on the roster instead of Humphries.

Similar big expiring contract, but better fit for the roster. Would prefer to give PF minutes to Sullinger and Olynyk than Hump. Also worried about chemistry.

Gordon's contract is a year longer, which is a good thing for both. They give up a pick or something and accelerate their rebuild, we get a pick and get vet presence.
