Rivers, Clippers still finalizing contract.Gary Washburn proving once again he is useless when it comes to inside information. Thats embarassingI thought the 2014 draft was more loaded though? It could be the their first year together they don't quite mesh and the second year that they're really good so not sure how I feel about this.Who's to say KG and Pierce don't retire after the first year Yeah next year Clips could be really good... the year after that, Pierce will be coming back to Boston and KG will be signing on as our big man coach.

There could be a lot of good talent at the back end of this years draft.I don't. I'd hate to see Pierce finishing his career on a team like Cleveland. I think that's even too cold blooded for Ainge to do. Pierce with be traded to someone willing to buy him IMO. Let him go home and finish his career.

He could potentially block a future KG for Jordan deal, which I wouldn't mind either way, but he has no basis to block the Doc for a 1st trade.

Let him go home and finish his career. You don't build a contender by doing players favors. If anyone has learned that it's Ainge. You do the best deal that is best for your team, let the player worry about the player.I'm a huge Pierce fan, and the fact that he has to play on a team other than the Celtics kills me. But we don't owe him anything. He made millions of dollars and got a ring here. He doesn't have a no trade clause.
