What's the rational for the cavs? Would they actually plan on keeping Pierce?
Not bad, a trade exception can come in very handy. I was hoping for the Mavs 1st round pick (#13), but considering this draft class, two 2nd rounders and a trade exception may be the better option

Do you think they want to flip him for something else? The obviously would exercise the option.
