These on again off again talks are incredibly frustrating.
I'm guessing it wouldn't be the right thing to agree or do anything tonight, since I read Sterling is still out having dinner w/ Brian Shaw right now. I bet its done tomorrow morning.

That must be an awkward dinner.  I wonder if Sterling expects Shaw to pick up the check.

They're probably having Italian, Shaw's personal favorite.
He's probably enjoying Shaws company over drinks and beautiful black body. ;D

I got an idea...

Danny offers Doc, KG and Chris Paul for DJ and Bledsoe.

Lets face it, Paul wants this deal done.  Clips don't make it and they could will lose him also!  If they say no, Danny tells them to suck it!

Wait...

He can tell them hes doing them a favor by backing off of the original offer of DJ, Bledsoe and 2 first rd picks.  And at the end before he hangs up the phone, he can remind them if they don't do the deal AND they lose Paul, they can get ready to waste Griffin's career and sit at the bottom of the league again and THEN watch Griffin walk away.  Then he can tell them to suck it!

I can't wait until this is over and all the Clipper trolls can get lost.

i just don't think we're tanking...just getting younger.
we'll be back in contention in like the next 3-5 years.

Listening to Stan Van Gundy on @NBCSportsRadio. SVG saying he thinks Celtics deal "not a good move" for Clippers. Price too high for him.

His brother Jeff said he isn't interested on weei

Sloan has gone back to work in Utah

Karl has said he doesn't want to be part of a rebuilding team

Guess are choices are down to Shaw and Del Negro?

If Rondo can come back healthy and 100% I don't believe it will take that long. We went from 2nd worst record in the NBA to NBA champs in a single year.

It's all about assets and opportunities. If Ainge can get the right assets (picks, prospects on rookie deals, cap space, and expiring deals) then there is no reason we have to be a lottery team for more then 1-2 years.

Assuming we tank next season we could have a very high lottery pick, two clipper picks, the expiring deals of Bass, Terry, and Jordan, Sullinger, Melo, and Bradley all on rookie deals, and the rookie we have this year on a rookie deal. That doesn't account for what all we get from Pierce being traded (if he is).

That's a lot of ammunition to use to add a couple key guys to a Green and Rondo core.

Well, with the ex-Celtics fetish people have, why not Ed Pinckney?  He's getting some interviews.  As an assistant in Chicago he was charged with working with their bigs and has the ability to continue the Thibs/Doc defensive scheme.
