YES!!!! Make the deal Danny. Make it NOW! Can't wait for youth to finally be represented here. Its been a long time coming. My dream for Wiggins is very much alive.

Get ready for mediocrity.  We'll be bad enough to miss the playoffs, but probably not terrible enough to finish in the bottom five.
We don't need to finish in the top 5 to win the lottery.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I would have LOVED to see this board during the trade deadline

"Hey guy deandre Jordan and a 1st, MAYBE 2, for KG.......and Doc Rivers"

My god how desperate and sad its now become.

All it takes is an injury to drop us down to the bottom.  Also you gotta imagine this means the captain is gone

I still don't totally get this.  If the Chris Paul is that anxious to play for Doc Rivers and play with Kevin Garnett, why doesn't he ask for a sign-and-trade to Boston?  Clippers can have Rajon Rondo and his torn ACL for their troubles.

deal is going to get done.  Both sides have an advantage yet are scared at the same time

1. Clippers need this deal because they gave up alot to get Paul, and there is a 50/50 chance he may not comeback without this deal. Plus the Clippers want to settle this deal soon so that they can work on a Griffin Bledsoe trade for D howard and easily sign Pierce once he is bought out. This trade is the key to jumpstart at a really great chance to win a championship finally. Without this deal terrible things can end up long term for this org

2. The celtics are at odds bc without this deal Pierce is bought out/traded, Rivers at best takes a leave of absence and there will be great uncertainty as to what KG will do.  Celtics will be rebuilding at ultra raw beginnings. Prob the worse way to rebuild, by getting a non lotto pick and wasting a year.

The deal that should finalize soon imo

To LAC - Rivers, KG, Lee and 2014 2nd round pick

To Bos - Jordan and 2014 and 2016 or 2017 1st round pick, Caron Butler

I hope after the Celtics hire Brian Shaw. Experience under Phil Jackson and was an assistant to a highly successful indiana team this year. I'd give him a chance

And we have a BINGO!!!

Wiggins to Boston...only way we'll ever get stars to come here is through the draft. Why do people still continue to think players want to play in Boston? Weather is better in LA and Miami and NYC has the most marketing potential

The six best teams in the lottery all have less than a 2% chance of winning.

In other words, we have a better chance of winning a title next year than winning the lottery, unless we get really, really bad.

Moreso why did he nix the trade a couple years ago

We'd have been mediocre if KG and PP stayed anyway, only it would have been just good enough to miss the lottery, but not good enough to contend.  I'd rather be mediocre to bad and gain a couple of assets going forward, but I certainly understand a lot of you feel differently.

So we make the trade for approximately a 1:50 (or worse) chance at Wiggins?

That seems like pretty poor odds.

But you have to figure that Rondo takes the season off too in order to get healthy. That would be fantastic news, that way we can deal him the year after fully rehabbed for a pick in a loaded 2014 draft

Good luck telling a guy as competitive as Rondo to just "take the season off".

He loves the WARM weather ,  LA SCENE , you know Kardashians and all those types ......he HATES  BOSTON was raised to HATE Boston .

CP3 wants to live , work , play where he can be with all his buddies , year around......it wants it all ....not willing to EVER go to Boston ...... He might go to Texas or Atlanta if DH is there

But yes it makes more sence for him to come to BOSTON were everything is already in place.   I 've thought , anybody that is JUST interested in BASKETBALL would see that way , but he is a playboy bratt and wants the Hollywood scene and all that noise ...makes him feel important to hang with that certain group of entertainment tonight crowd morons

He is a diva and spoiled brat  .
