Just for the record, I think he was living in that house with Several friends from his hometown in CT.  IT looks bad but its not necessarily his actions.

Question:  if this was some random gang-connected drug user, and not a gang-connected drug-using football player for your favorite team, would you feel the same way?

I'm not going to assume he killed somebody, but it clearly looks like he's covering up for whoever did.

Except you already had in progress a lawsuit re: a shooting of an associate, in his car and after a night at a bar, from February.

That makes some repeated version decidedly more plausible in this situation.

It probably depends on whether the shooter is gang-affiliated.

I imagine the fact that the shooter is pretty wealthy and the guy who got shot can get him to pay a settlement (or, failing that, give him money in a civil case) is probably a big part of it, too.

I read that they supposedly tried to file the suit a couple months ago, but due to some kind of filing issue had to refile now.  Who knows, though, I'm not a lawyer, even on the Internet.

The security system/cell phone/housecleaning seems pretty [dang]ing.  Looks very much like he's covering up for someone, maybe himself, maybe not, but definitely someone who was around that house.

At least this is the NFL so they don't have to keep paying the guy during the legal process.

Hernandez's lawyer has said they will let the process play out and that numerous media reports are false.

Hearing that the guy that got murdered is the boyfriend of Hernandez' wife's best friend and that that best friend has become difficult to locate.

If this is the case, seems like there could be motive and that this isn't just  an after the bar disagreement or accident.

Was there evidence of motive on the phone?
Was a professional cleaner brought in to clean blood?
Is the video surveillance destroyed to not show what the three people returning after the crime appeared like or possibly lead to another auto that has forensic evidence?

I say its time for the Pats to cut their ties with this guy and if Hernandez committed crimes, I hope he does time and a lot of it.

Aaron Will be arrested on Obstruction of Justice charges this morning. 

He was one of my favorite players and im really hoping there is a large part of this that is a "misunderstanding" or something like that but its not looking good. 

Super bummed.

I am too. It's really sad that he got himself in that position whether he killed someone or not. The principal that his name is involved to some extent does nott bold well for him. It doesn't look good for him personally or professionally right now

Its kinda funny following all the sports writers on twitter who had been analyzing what was going on with the warrant and what it means all morning then you the tweets after this comes out that just says

Total speculation on my part, but what I think may have happened is:

-This was a drug deal gone bad.

-Someone else outside of Hernandez’ crew (on the dealer side) shot the guy.

-They all panicked and didn’t want the drug deal part to get out (because of Hernandez’s employment).

-They left the body (thinking they couldn’t be linked to it since they didn’t touch/kill him).

-They went back to the house and did all this other stuff (phone/camera smashing, hiring the cleaning crew) to hide the fact they were there.  The phones probably have references to the deal, perhaps what happened after, and the camera obviously shows them returning just after the murder.

-They initially refused to cooperate out of fear they’d be killed next. 

Who knows if this is the case, but if so it is the BEST CASE SCENARIO for Hernandez at this point and he had better say it and say it SOON. It’s certainly better than being linked to murder.

This all makes more sense to me than Hernandez and his friends taking the guy (who happens to be his fiancé’s sister’s boyfriend) to an isolated industrial park and killing him. They were just out partying with the guy. Think about it: it’s early morning and they’re leaving the bar. Maybe they decide they’d like to pick up some marijuana or (more likely) cocaine and continue the party back at Hernandez’s house. So they call their dealer (or maybe one they met while out) and have him meet them at the industrial park (convenient since it’s close to his house and the perfect place for a late night drug deal because no one is around). Something goes horribly wrong and their friend winds up dead (either the dealer tries to rob them, someone mouths off, whatever).
