[sizept]This is Doc's fault[/size]
He said the condition of him going to the Clippers was that he wanted to coach CP3 AND Bledsoe.
So Doc essentially took away the only thing the Cs wanted to keep them in good position. Some loyalty.
Are you serious? This is Doc's fault?
This trade never had a chance. Where are all the people who say Doc is one of the worst coaches in the league, and that we should fire him. If we should fire him, why should they have to give us draft picks and a blossoming young talent in Bledsoe? That makes no sense to me, whatsoever.
Uh uh
You're missing the point and have continued to miss the point forever now
This trade isn't about Doc for the Clippers. It's about Chris Paul
Rumor has it that Chris has said he wants to play for Doc and that he wants to play alongside KG. Chris Paul has not signed an extension and the Clippers are doing everything they can right now to make their team/org attractive to Chris Paul (rumors of Danny Granger and Dwight Howard to LAC).
So you get offered a chance to get 2 of the things CP3 wants, then you get him to sign an extension. The Clippers have what they want, by giving CP3 what they want.
Do you get it now?
If the Clips and CP3 want to screen all day and shoot jumpers, that's on them. It will be no more Lob City, for sure. In the meantime, The Cs have to do something to make it a win win situation. That is, getting a big and a PG...two things that the Celtics need now and forever.
Doc Rivers is trying to be classy, but again, he continues to hold the Celtics hostage. I can almost guarantee you the Clippers were going to do the deal with DJ, Bledsoe and at least 1 pick. If you get CP3 to re-sign, which is almost guaranteed with this deal, then you don't NEED Bledsoe as much. You find any other willing PG (Billups) to do so.
