The Clippers could offer of Blake Griffin and Eric Bledsoe in sign-and-trade offer to the Lakers for Dwight Howard after July 1, according to ESPN.com

I think the Lakers will call D12 on his bluff, and ultimately sign him.

2 things I'm hearing: Celts holding tight for Bledsoe in this Clips deal, and C's trying to dump 1 or 2 contracts in it (Terry and/or Lee).

PS: something like Doc/KG/Terry/Lee for Jordan/Bledsoe/Butler/picks is Boston's ideal scenario here. Youth + future cap space + picks.

No way should we do a deal that doesn't get us at least Bledsoe who is a young asset. Would rather run with the oldies then not get him and only get Deandre and two 1st rd picks.

Why are people assuming this is a done deal? Lol I'm seeing all these threads pop up about "what's next?"

i guess for me i think DA does (and should) do the deal with or without Bledsoe

why should c's accept deal if no bledsoe ? I mean the Clippers are getting a top 3 coach , and an anchor for their defense , who is a much better offensive player than Jordan .

if anything , I would rather have Bledsoe and only 1 first round pick (late 20's)

because we have lots of guards under contract and no real paint threat

Woj is saying that there is "NO WAY" the Lakers send Dwight to the clippers.

Per Woj: Lakers have fully resisted Clippers overtures on a sign-and-trade for Dwight Howard. "They will never do it," source with knowledge tells Y!

I know Terry may be a bit overpaid, but I imagine he is exactly the kind of player that LAC would like to add to their championship-calber squad. They are in win-now mode.

This is the thing i don't get.  LA Clippers shouldn't have to worry about including Bledsoe with Griffin.

Griffin alone for D Howard should be more than enough compensation. Both are considered young elite stars, and Clippers still have to doll out alot of money for Howard, while Griffin is already signed.

Its more than fair enough, that Bledsoe shouldn't even have to be mentioned about. Lakers are in mercy mode right now and don't have alot of options who they can get back for a possible howard sign and deal.

To celtics: Jordan, Bledsoe, 2 first round picks

To LAC: Kg, PP, Rivers

I don't care if we have to sacrifice and get only the 2013 pick, but no way in hell could we be happy with Jordan , 2013 pick and a likely near dead last 2014 pick.

Yea but if we get bledsoe we can do the Eric Gordon for PP and Bradley trade

PG: Rondo  / Bledsoe
SG: Gordon / Lee
SF: Green  / #16 (Giannis or Glen Rice Jr)
PF: Sully  / Bass
C: Jordan / Melo or Clips pick

That is a young exciting team, with potential to be a 50+ win team IMO

You can always trade Jordan and Bledsoe plus picks after next year to try and land another big piece too .

Can someone please answer. What is our Cap situation if this deal happens, and we either deal pierce to a team with cap space or buy him out. Will this give us some money to play with?

I would take Jordan and 2 draft picks and RUN. KG is washed up. Doc isn't a great coach and if we get Bledsoe then its the icing on the cake. The end of a disappointing era that should have resulted in more titles. We traded a great player in Big AL, Gerald Green and others for a title which was good but it seems like a failure when we could have traded Pierce for assets and tanked another year for D-Rose. I'll take a young and athletic team over a boring plodding team any day of the week. Title or not we should be entertained if I'm paying good money for a game. If we do get Bledsoe then we NEED to take the first deal that comes across Ainge's desk for Rondo and install Bledsoe as the PG of the future. He's younger than Rondo.
