  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
My guess is based on this T-Will won't be making that roster  :(

Well I hope we draft a big with our 16th pick, and choose Shane Larkin.

Why?

Second highest vertical jump, and is the fastest sprinter, beating John Wall by .02 seconds.

While it may not be a good deal, his overall game is similar to Lawson. Where he can not only drive, and pull down the one handed jam. But his eyes scours the court, and he can make the ranged jumper. With his quickness and his size, he can dart in and out of the court. Which would work well to increase Bradley's cutting.

Does anyone know where Shane will drop?

I watched the combine workouts last night.   Ledo looked good.

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/ricardo-ledo

Nice stroke, I think we need a SG as much as we need a big.  I am not sold on AB.   But he was lights out day one and struggled day two.

I don't think we should take him at 16.   But if we could trade MarshMELO to get back late in the first round or early second I think he is intriguing.

I think Siva is the kind of kid Ainge, loves.   He is not ideal at his height, his shot is suspect but he can play.  Great on the ball defender but easy to post up in the post but he is not a natural PG but he is a leader.

I like Hardaway too, he is decently athletic and has good size.

From the range of these picks could Ainge be trading down?   Or is he going to trade back into the first or second?   A lot of PGs, here, could mean something could mean nothing.

These guys might also go un-drafted and thus be available as a free agent for training camp.  There might be a Wes Matthews or Jeremy Lin in there.

Looks like they're thinking about it.

Also interesting that they are bringing in so many PGs. Would they do that if they were targeting a PG in the first round?

I like the way Danny approaches this, he's interviewing Noel and others at the top, as well as guys way at the bottom. It seems very thorough.

I agree. The only worry is with this the real question is are we attempting to tank, or trying to go for the last run?

the only way i understand this is that danny is looking to trade the 1st for a later 1st and 2nd pick

Which is not a bad in a draft where nobody knows who will exactly pan out and who won't. And its a pretty evenly talented field of players from 12 all the way to mid 2nd round.

Also like someone said with T will prob not coming back and you got uncertainties with Rondo and Barbosa (both who will be back, this would be a fine move to bring in one of these kids)

Siva and Jackson are two of my fav 2nd round pg's. Pressey is one of the best passers in the draft, but can't do anything else above avg. Don't like Ledo and Colton Iverson won't even get drafted so i'm not sure why they are wasting their time on him

addition: Just thought that danny maybe going the cheapskate route and maybe picking one or two of these rookies, in case they got undrafted

Not necessarily. We could easily buy a 2nd round pick in this draft. Danny may just be seeing if there is anyone worth buying or trading for a 2nd round pick for.
