This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.  They are not trading Blake Griffin for anything short of another superstar in their prime.

That would be one of the greatest deals ever for the C's, but no way will Blake Griffin come to Boston.

I wish, but I doubt LA deals Blake Griffin, who is their franchise player.

I think they would deal CP3 in a sign and trade before trading Griffin.

Silly yes...then again these are the Clippers.

Does anyone believe Chris Paul signs a long term deal with Paul and KG near retirement?

The rumor is less astounding to me than the fact that Smith still has a job.

Hmmm...Rondo, Bradley, Bledsoe, Terry, Lee, Green, Butler, Bass, Sully, Griffin???

Odd, and interesting combination of players.  The only players worthy of keeping out of that core are Rondo, Green & Griffin.  Everyone else is trade fodder in a larger deal I guess.

I wonder what we could get for some combination of Bradley, Bledsoe, Lee, Terry, Butler, Sully & Bass (plus picks)?

Ultimately, this is likely a ridiculous rumor.  I can't see the Clippers moving Griffin for one or two years of Pierce/KG.  Also, I'm not sure I'd want to build around Griffin, he does have some flaws.

Haha.  Yeah, completely comical.  But sure, SAS has finally found a KG/Pierce trade that I would say yes to.

No way this has any chance of happening. But if it did I'd be all for it. Makes us younger and better prepared for the future and kg&paul get to stay together for one more shot at a ring with cp3
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

No player is perfect in the NBA. I would think if you gave any rational Celtics fan a choice as to what player they'd like to rebuild around, Blake would be tops on that list.

Funny, heard SAS this morning talk about Doc as a potential candidate to replace PJ Carlesimo as head coach in Brooklyn.

I'm starting to wonder whether KG, Pierce, and Doc all get relocated to another team during the offseason.
