I don't think I've ever seen a Celtics team in the KG/Big 3 era just give up before until tonight.
This team has no toughness, no effort, no heart, no grit and balls, and etc.
While they weren't the better team in some of the past series, they would at least defy the odds and push teams to the limit and down swinging while doing it. Last years team had players injured left and right and the bench was just a mess yet they displayed more than this.
I would have rather them miss the playoffs than to see this.

It's not a lack of effort.  They're just outclassed.  Throw out the playoff success of SOME of the Celtics and long ineptitude of the Knicks organization, which shouldn't be relevant and this is how the series should be going.  The Celtics were a minus point differential team and didn't play well for a long time coming into the playoffs.  The Knicks were plus 4.3 and came into the playoffs rolling.  This series shouldn't be surprising at all.

You hear Doc talk about how they played leading up to the playoffs didn't matter because....it didn't matter before.  Yep, that's good analysis there.

Jordan Crawford is likable but his offensive game is the epitome of a losing team like the Wizards who just don't care, he was a terrible trade, there was a reason Barbosa didn't get many minutes and even took better shots and with that I give up on this game. I just hate the knicks too much to watch the end.

Realistically, after this debacle of a series, is Doc's job safe?

.   Not a team, really.  PP and KG and a bunch of guys they dont know.  Its far form the gang of peers and hungry kids that came together in 08.   Now its 2 aging vets and a bunch of journeymen. What can you do.

Dont want to say too much about any one player but Bro Bass has hardly taken advantage of his opportunities from the bench.  Not, I fear, a building block.

Reminds me a bit of the Pistons after they traded Chauncey and got bounced by the Cavs in the first round that year.

The players just knew. They knew they weren't good enough to compete. They had been to the mountain top and knew they had no chance of getting there again. It was over.

We need quick offense, quick shots.

Hit or miss, we gotta shoot in 8 seconds or less.

GOD HELP US...

doc should be shown the door this offseason. no shav or wilcox.

I truly believe that Doc thinks he will rip a tear in the universe if KG and Shav are on the floor together.

This is dead on.
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

What is this, Pierce actually guarding Carmelo for an extended stretch?  What kind of madness is this?  Bring in Bass to guard Carmelo.  I need more falling more pumpfakes.

Felton killed us by himself

it's pathetic what he was able to do considering how great our guard defense with Bradley was supposed to be
