  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Honestly this is probably the two last games kg and pierce ever play.  We haven't been a great team in a few years.  I just hope the fans keep it classy and don't boo those guys on the way out.  They just don't have it anymore.  Winter is coming... They gave us 3-4 solid years of contention and one championship... We're about to a lotto team indefinitely.  Let's show these guys some respect for what they managed to do.  20 years of irrelevance before KG arrived and we might be heading for another 20 years of irrelevance once he leaves

Thank you, KG.  I appeciate you.

TP for you.

Unfortunately, I heard boos as the guys walked off the floor.

You kept adamantly arguing against me that Terry will show up in the playoffs. How much longer should I wait, oh omniscient professor?

Just curious, do you get some sort of vindication by proving some stranger on a blog wrong?

Yeah, I was wrong about Terry, but I'm sure you've been wrong about stuff, too.  Don't act like you're perfect.

I'm going to take a leave of absence, because I can tell things are going to get pretty nasty pretty soon.

Goodbye all.  See you in a few weeks.

I'm sorry but you CANT do worse with Williams, Crawford, and Shav seeing some time

the point so many here fail to see is yes, maybe we would still lose the series even if doc got the most out of them and used a better system...BUT HE DOES NOT! that is the point.

Terry and lee are busts. No way around it. It is time to burn it down

Lee just not getting minutes. He was fine when he was a starter. Doc is just too much of an idiot to realize what works best for this team. Unlike, Lee, Terry has never shown up all-season. What a swindler.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
It's more missed shots than anything. They've been wide open and/or right at the net time after time after time and just not hitting the shots. You can put the whole rest of the bench on the floor. Someone has to make shots. It just ain't happening.

Didn't ray drop 23 the other night?  Cant blame him for wanting to play for a contender off the bench instead of backing up Avery Bradley on a borderline lotto team

Jeff Green and Paul Pierce are a combined 6-19 FGAs with 0 FTAs and 6 TOs.

25 possessions used, 13 points scored.

The rest of the team has used 24 possessions for 18 points. Still very poor but not as bad as the two most capable scorers on the team.

Pierce especially looks terrible.  2-10 on great looks, 3 terrible turnovers.  Needs to regain his peak form from the regular season in a hurry for us to have any chance at this thing.

And my goodness is Jason Terry depressing to watch.  Complete non-factor offensively.

Green is 4 for 9 with 9 points and 6 boards, I don't know how you can try to lump him into Pierce's 2 for 10 performance and put blame on him, he's played well. Yea, he should shoot more, but he has played well.

Ray looking like a genius right now. He's outperforming any player on the Celtics too.

Our last four consecutive quarters against the Knicks: 11pts, 12pts, 18pts, 13pts ... I am stunned into praralysis.

The Knicks are not this good, folks ... and after all that's happened in Boston you'd think they'd be fired up luck never before!

This is not my Celtics ... it's about time they showed up.

Ok. We've sucked so far.

Time to make a comeback. Ugly 2nd half but we get the lead and make it 2-1.
