I think this game is literally going to take me away from the Paul Pierce should finish his career with the C's camp, if he wants to play another season it really doesn't need to be with us. I would love Doc, Danny and "The Jet" to go too. What an embarrassing group we have out there, no heart, can't deal with the playoff intensity...I would much rather just rebuild with Rondo, Green, Sullinger and hope to get lucky in the draft than deal with more of this.

  • About five seconds after 17 O'clock!!
Am I the only one that thinks that not having anything even close to a point guard for the slowed down playoff basketball is a big factor?

Anyway, I suppose if we lose the series at least it'll get rid of the fair weather fan boobirds that this place seems to attract......until next year of course.

Danny has some work this offseason because something needs to happen. I'm done with this season.

They talked all that talk about coming back to Boston and playing great for the city yet this is the result.

18 points in first and 13 in the second. I wonder what's next? 10? 12? another 8?

where are all the people who said a few months ago that we are better without Rondo?

If Pierce, Bradley, Terry and Green are playing like they are playing, no Rondo in the world can save you.

Rondo opens up the game for all of them. It's painfully obvious that not having a point guard is killing our offense. Bradley is barely competent enough a ball handler to play center, never mind point guard.

We are getting slaughtered.

it's over. game and series but i knew that 6 weeks ago that we were going nowhere.

Only 6 weeks ago?

I knew the second it was conclusive Rondo was done for the season.  Hard to win without your best player, especially when the next two best are 35+.

No surprise here.

Jet is the only Celtic to get to the FT line so far tonight.

Honestly this is probably the two last games kg and pierce ever play.  We haven't been a great team in a few years.  I just hope the fans keep it classy and don't boo those guys on the way out.  They just don't have it anymore.  Winter is coming... They gave us 3-4 solid years of contention and one championship... We're about to a lotto team indefinitely.  Let's show these guys some respect for what they managed to do.  20 years of irrelevance before KG arrived and we might be heading for another 20 years of irrelevance once he leaves

Thank you, KG.  I appeciate you.

TP for you.

Unfortunately, I heard boos as the guys walked off the floor.

I like to think most of those boos were directed at Doc.

I hope they didn't say before the game that they're playing for the people of Boston.  I recall one of the players mentioning it after game 2 that they wanted to come home and play for (or represent) Boston because of the marathon.

You kept adamantly arguing against me that Terry will show up in the playoffs. How much longer should I wait, oh omniscient professor?

Why did Doc mess around with the starting lineup?

This is the playoffs, you don't tinker with lineups at this juncture in the season!!!!

Don't you know? Jet is a game changer and will be great in the playoffs!!!!!!!

i admit. I WAS WRONG! first step is acceptance. ;D
LET'S GO CELTICS!
