ok, where's all the "this team will play better in the playoffs" gang?

this is just embarrassing.  no idea how this team made the playoffs.  they just look so lost it's like they never played together before.

Why did Doc mess around with the starting lineup?

This is the playoffs, you don't tinker with lineups at this juncture in the season!!!!

because it didn't work in the first 2 games and whatever lineup he puts out there is a patchwork anyway

where are all the people who said a few months ago that we are better without Rondo?

Where are all the people who said a few weeks ago once the playoffs start we'll be fine?

where are all the people who said we would flip a switch and that we were on cruise control and would turn it on in the playoffs? what a load of horse manure.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

You guys realize Doc's decisions are killing this team.
I think it is more about the players playing poorly.

I think very little of it has to do with coaching.

where you Been dude?  It's been the coaching for years now.

If Pierce, Bradley, Terry and Green are playing like they are playing, no Rondo in the world can save you.
The Celtic in me.

Honestly this is probably the two last games kg and pierce ever play.  We haven't been a great team in a few years.  I just hope the fans keep it classy and don't boo those guys on the way out.  They just don't have it anymore.  Winter is coming... They gave us 3-4 solid years of contention and one championship... We're about to a lotto team indefinitely.  Let's show these guys some respect for what they managed to do.  20 years of irrelevance before KG arrived and we might be heading for another 20 years of irrelevance once he leaves

Thank you, KG.  I appeciate you.

TP for you.

Unfortunately, I heard boos as the guys walked off the floor.

If the players miss shots and play bad, its Doc's fault for not playing the scrubs at the end of the bench. If the players just good enough, its Doc's fault for overplaying them. If the players have massive limitations and Doc plays a form of basketball that best limits those weaknesses, he's a dolt for playing that style. If Doc moves things around, he's a buffoon for not doing it months ago.

Okay. I get it. Doc can't win with some of you. I know he has his faults(he drives me nuts with his lack of TO's at times, he loves the 1-3 screen play and doesn't play enough pick and roll and plays too much pick and pop, and his rotations at times....WOW!!!) but if the Celtics lose this series or game, it will not be because of Doc Rivers.

you think doc is using his players right and getting the most out of them????
I think the question irrelevant as the margin of improvement in this team if Doc was using his players at their 100% highest efficiency wouldn't be great enough to make this team good enough to win a playoff series.

Playoff basketball is about having the right star player or group of players. The Celtics best playoff player and the Celtics best rebounding and post offensive player were both lost for the year in January. There's little anyone could have done as a coach to have made this team much better, especially given the quality of players that make up players 10-15 on this team right now.
