Wow.  Gronk looks like he might be done for the season.

I love watching Gronk.  He makes the Pats so fun on offense.  Seems like he just can't stay on the field.

Man, what a tough season for the Pats.  Just not meant to be.  I know I've said this before this season.  I hope I'm being a chicken little, but this is just so disappointing.

You would think it wouldn't be too hard to make sure tackling happens above the knee and below the shoulders. Apparently not in the NFL.

That was a really atrocious intentional grounding call against the Browns.  You would think the refs have money on the Pats.

Great -- amazing -- comeback by the Pats, but the refs definitely aided the victory.  The terrible "defenseless receiver" call gave them an extra 15 yards on the onside kick, and that was a pretty ticky-tack pass interference call.

It's crazy how many Pats games have been decided (both ways) this year due to really bad officiating.

Given that they were getting mugged in the first half with no calls, I guess that all evened out when all is said and done.

At  beginning of the game, the Patriots were robbed of a fumble by the refs. It resulted in the Browns getting three points on the board.

Absolutely epic comeback. One of the best I've ever seen.

What's frustrating is the announcers sitting up there saying "gosh, it's unfortunate, but there's just nothing to do." Which is total BS. Obviously you can't get rid of all injuries, but rules are changeable. Not that hard to make "spearing" a penalty. I think Rugby can handle having rules where you have to wrap a guy up to tackle (no diving blind leading with the shoulder), and, if desired, this would be easily implemented into the NFL.

They would, if the NFL cared about player safety -- but they only care about lawsuit safety.

I htought the rougnness penalty was totally legit. Shoulder to facemask, been called a lot this year.

I'm actually a fan of the intentional grounding call. Probably not "fair" to be called in this game, but I think it should be called all the time. I see it as hand in hand with the increasing protection of qb's. If there are so many restrictions on where to hit and when to hit qb's it makes sense to call them down sooner. Otherwise it's too confusing. You have defensive players start to tackle a qb, the qb is fighting to keep upright and make a play, and the defender doesn't know what to do to avoid the penalty. I want to see qb's whistled down a lot sooner if there's going to be the same roughing the passer calls.

Unbelievable comeback, just amazing ... never, never, NEVER count this team and Tom Brady out. NO ONE runs the two-minute drill better than Tom ... it defies imagination at times.

Report of torn ACL for Gronk just now on Comcast.  MRI to confirm tomorrow.
